AP ICET 2026 Eligibility Criteria Overview
Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test is conducted for admission to MBA or MCA program of colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The AP ICET eligibility criteria prescribes the nationality, edicational requirements and age criteria to appear for exam. Candidates seeking admission to MBA course offered by universities in Andhra Pradesh must appear for Andhra Pradesh ICET exam. More than 290 colleges in Andhra Pradesh offers admission on the Andhra Pradesh ICET scores only.
APICET Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates must check the AP ICET eligibility criteria as mentioned below before filling the application form. Candidates can check the eligibility criteria about academic qualifications, age limit, reservations and so forth.
Academic Qualifications
- According to the APICET eligibility criteria 2026, candidates seeking admission to the MBA programme must have completed and passed a three- or four-year degree course in any discipline offered by a university or recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Candidates can check the list of recognised universities by UGC by logging on to: https://www.ugc.ac.in/recog_College.aspx
- Candidates with aggregate marks of 50% (45% in the case of reserved categories- SC, ST and BC) are alone eligible to take admission through APICET.
- The qualifying Degree obtained by the Distance Mode Program should be recognised by the Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE, and DEC/DEB.
- The candidates who are appearing for the final year degree examination shall also be eligible to appear for AP ICET-2026.
Age Limit
There is no age bar to apply for APICET exam.
Nationality
The candidates should be Indian Nationals and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) Order, 1974 as amended.

- The Convener or/and the Common Entrance Test Committee reserve the right to reject a candidate's application at any stage, if A) the application is incomplete. B) the candidate fails to satisfy the prescribed eligibility conditions. C) False or incorrect information is provided.
- Any change whatsoever, including that of caste/community status or category, shall not be permitted in the filled-in application once submitted to the Convener. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
- Authorities are not responsible for the non-submission of the application by the notified date and time, regardless of the reason.
AP ICET exam is conducted once in a year. Candidates can re-appear for the exam in next academic year. For the upcoming examination, Andhra Pradesh ICET 2026 will be scheduled tentatively on May 07, 2026. Candidates must stay updated with the exam dates to prepare for the exam well.

What after fulfilling the APICET 2026 Eligibility Criteria?
Candidates after fulfilling the prescribed eligibility criteria can apply for AP ICET 2026 exam by filling the online application form through the official website- cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. After filling the application form, candidates will be provided with the opprurtunity to edit AP ICET application form 2026. The correction window will open online on March 23, 2026.
Once the correction window closes, APSCHE will release AP ICET 2026 hall ticket. Applicants will be able to download the admit card online. Registered candidates will have to appear for the AP ICET 2026 exam, will be held across 25 districts of Andhra Pradesh. Candidates will be able to choose three to four AP ICET exam centres while filling the application form.
