IBSAT 2026 scholarships have been announced by the ICFAI Business School (IBS). The scholarships are worth INR 10 crores (INR 2 lakhs each). IBSAT scholarships 2026 are for candidates who are applying to the MBA/PGM program for the 2027-2029 batch.
IBSAT 2026 scholarships are open to candidates who are taking the IBSAT 2026 exam being held in December 2026, and also for those applying to the course program at IBS through their CAT, XAT, GMAT™, or NMAT by GMAC™ scores. IBSAT is a national-level entrance exam conducted by IBS to offer admissions into MBA/PGDM programs in its business schools in India. It is a 2-hour test conducted in an online mode consisting of 140 MCQs with four sections.
Scholarship eligibility criteria
For the scholarship, students are required to meet the eligibility criteria. IBSAT 2026 scholarship eligibility criteria are mentioned below:

Candidates who have scored top ranks in IBSAT 2026/XAT/CAT/NMAT by GMAC™/GMAT™.

IBS alumni children (former IBS graduates) applying for the MBA/PGDM programs are eligible.

Children of defense personnel applying for the MBA/PGDM courses (Serving or retired army personnel from Air force/Navy/Army/paramilitary forces) are eligible.

Students who are physically challenged and applying for MBA/PGM courses are eligible.

Yes, IBSAT (ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test) can be taken more than once. IBSAT is an entrance examination conducted by ICFAI Foundation for admission to MBA and PGDM programs offered by the IBS campuses across India. IBSAT exam is conducted once in a year. Candidates can apply for IBSAT 2026 exam for which registrations will commence in first week of July.
As per IBSAT exam pattern, the marking scheme for IBSAT is as follows:
- One mark for each correct answer
- No marks for wrong answers
Based on score obtained by candidates in IBSAT exam, they are shortlisted for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds.

IBSAT merit scholarship 2026 Terms and Conditions
There are some terms and conditions for the IBSAT merit scholarships 2026. Key details for the same are listed below:

Students who will take the IBSAT December 2026 exam or apply using their CAT, XAT, NMAT by GMAC™, or GMAT™ scores.

Those students who will complete their entire admission process, including fee payment, will be eligible for the IBSAT merit scholarship 2026.

The scholarship amount can only be adjusted with the student’s program fee within the IBS and can’t be used for any other purposes.

If the student withdraws their name from the program, the scholarship amount will not be returned to them.
Students who wish for the IBSAT merit scholarship 2026 should meet the eligibility criteria set by the IBSAT, provided above. Also, in any case, students need to score in the top rank either in the IBSAT 2026 exam or the entrance exam score IBS accepts.
