KMAT 2024: Guidelines for Online Proctored Mode of Examination
Candidates can take the KMAT 2024 test from their homes using a laptop or a desktop (with a webcam) and a 5 Mbps uninterrupted internet connection. Students must remember that they will be invigilated with the help of AI and Human Proctor. Candidates must take the exam ethically and honestly, as the exam conducting authority holds the right to disbar the candidate if he/she is found to be using unfair means.

Basic Instructions
- Candidates appearing for the exam must use a laptop/desktop which has Windows 7, 8, 10 and Ubuntu LINUX (14.1 and 16) versions.
- If the candidate is using a laptop, then he/she must make sure that it is connected to the charger throughout the exam duration.
- The laptop/desktop must have a minimum of 4GB of RAM and an Intel Core i3 processor or above for the smooth conduction of the exam.
- There must be at least 100 MB of free space on the computer.
- Candidates must be seated in front of the laptop throughout the exam in a well-lit area where their face is clearly visible.
- Candidates must take the exam in formal clothes.
- Candidates must make sure that there shouldn't be any disturbance and noise in the background.
Instructions to be Followed During the Test
- Applicants must not leave their seats throughout the exam because their videos and images will be recorded and supervised in real-time with the help of AI and a Human Proctor. If they do so, it will be considered a violation.
- Applicants must not open any other application or a pop-up window and if in case anybody would be caught doing so, he/she will be disbarred.
- Applicants will not be allowed to take breaks during the exam.
- Applicants cannot use any electronic gadget such as a tablet, calculator, etc. while giving the exam. They can only use plain paper and pencil after showing the same to the examiner.
- Candidates are not allowed to talk or speak during the KMAT exam.
- Candidates must have KMAT admit card and a photo ID proof before sitting for the exam.
- Candidates must not disturb the position of the webcam during the exam.

On the KMAT exam day, candidates have to follow certain guidelines which include settling on time, cooperating with the exam conducting staff, following instructions of the test invigilator and following the test navigation for solving the KMAT questions. No, the KMAT exam will be conducted only in single shift. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the KPPGCA, exam conducting authority, has resolved to the remote-proctored mode. Even then, the exam will only be conducted in one shift on a single day. KMAT exam pattern has not changed much since past few years. KMAT exam will be conducted in the internet-based test mode in the morning shift in the first week of November 2024, tentatively. The shift timings for both the courses, MBA and MCA will be the same.

- Valid Photo ID Proof: Keep a valid photo identification document issued by the government of India. This could include any of the following:
