Gauhati University MBA admission is completely based on the merit scores obtained by students in the university/national-level entrance exam along with their merit at the undergraduate level. The university conducts its own entrance exam for admission. Difficulty level of MAT exam is lower than other MBA entrance exams. The question paper is usually of easy to moderate difficulty level. The exam is now held for 120 minutes. There are now 150 questions in the exam paper. There is no sectional time limit in MAT which allows the candidate to plan a strategy according to their strengths and weaknesses. The score of Indian and Global Environment section is not considered for percentile calculation thus candidates don't have the stress of fifth section. Also, solving 150 questions is not mandatory so candidates can choose to solve only those questions which they know they can solve accurately. Sectional difficulty level of MAT is also lower than other MBA exams. Candidates can attempt the exam multiple times in the same academic year to improve their score. They also have the option to choose the mode of test - CBT, IBT, PBT - which makes it the most student friendly exam. Also, the MAT cut offs for admission are much lower as compared to other entrance exams.

There is no age limit for appearing in MAT exam. Any candidate who has a graduation degree can appear for MAT. MAH MBA CET 2024 dates were announced by the Maharashtra State CET Cell in December 2023. The announcement was made by the examination body at it's Twitter (X) handle. As per the official notification, the MAH MBA CET 2024 will be held on March 9, 10 and 11, 2024. Earlier, in October 2023, the agency had announced exam dates as March 23 and 24, 2024. 

Online registrations were conducted from January 11 to February 12, 2024. The aspirants had to fill an online application form to be eligible to appear in the exam. The admit card and result date of MAH MBA CET 2024 will be announced by the examination body in the last week of February or First week of March 2024.

The university fee structure is cumulative of several components, such as caution deposit, tuition fee, hostel fee, and more. A few of these components are one-time payable, while some have are charged annually/semesterly. SRM IST Chennai MBA tuition fee ranges between INR 1.9 Lacs and INR 11.5 lakh. As per the details available on the official website and the latest admission brochure, MBA admissions at KJ Somaiya Institute of Management (KJSIM) are completely based on the merit of students in their UG degree along with their performance in the national/ state/ university-level entrance exam.
