INI CET 2025 Nov Counselling: How to Register, Fill Preferences and Seat Allotment Process

INI CET counselling session, conducted online by AIIMS Delhi requires qualifying candidates to register and fill their preferences for colleges and courses. Read the article to know the whole process of INI CET 2025 November counselling/seat allocation.

INI CET 2025 counselling dates for November exam will be anounced anytime soon. Counselling will begin with with mock round choice filling. AIIMS is expected to announce counselling dates and schedule for INI CET Nov 2025 exam in first week of December 2025. INI CET counselling is held to allot seats in Postgraduate courses like MD, MS, DM (6 yrs.), M.Ch (6 yrs) and MDS at 23 institutions including 19 AIIMS, as well as JIPMER, and NIMHANS. Those who qualify for the INI CET Nov 2025 with the minimum cut off percentile are eligible to register online for the INI CET Nov 2025 counselling process/ seat allocation rounds. Whole process of INI CET counselling is conducted in a total of four rounds, mock round, round 1, round 2, and open round.

Reservation of Medical Seats for INI CET 2025 Counselling

According to the government policy, out of 100 % total postgraduate medical seats, 59.5% seats are reserved for those candidates who belongs to the recognized reserved category. Candidates belong to general category have to compete for 40.5% seats. The table below contains the category-wise seat reservation:

INI CET 2025 Counselling Procedure (November Exam)

INI CET 2025 admission process for PG courses through INI CET entrance exam begins with registrations followed by other key events including counselling. Those who qualify for the entrance exam will have to register to participate in the INI CET 2025 counselling. Candidates will have to submit college preferences and speciality on the official website of AIIMS Delhi. The institute will then prepare the seat allotment list for INI CET 2025 counselling based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance exam and the choices submitted by them. Below is the step by step guide for INI CET counselling 2025:

Step 1: Registration

• Candidates register themselves on the official website of aiimsexams.org to apply for the INI CET counselling 2025

• After this registration process is completed, new candidate Id and password is generated

Step 2: Filling the preferences

In this step, candidates have to log in to their registered account and follow these instructions

• Click on “Make Choice”

• To add choice, select the preferred AIIMS institute

• Now click on “Add Choice”

• To remove a choice, click on “Delete” option next to the drop-down

• After filling in the preferences, click on “Save”

• Recheck your preferences and confirm the choices

• Choices once submitted cannot be changed

Step 3: Allotment result for the mock round of INI CET counselling 2025

Based on the preferences filled by the registered candidates, the seat allotment list for mock round of INI CET counselling is prepared.

Step 4: Final submission of campus preference

• This is the final chance for a candidate to edit or change the preferences before the final seat allotment list for INI CET is prepared

• Candidates who fail to fill in the preferences for a round of INI CET counselling 2025 will not be considered for the next round of counselling as well

Step 5: Seat allotment list for INI CET 2025

A final list of the candidates selected is prepared and displayed on the website.

Step 6: Accept or decline the allocated seat

Those who make it to the seat allotment list of INI CET 2025 have to choose whether they want to accept or refuse the seat allotted to them. After logging in to their registered account, they have to choose from the following options:

Option 1: Candidate wishes to continue with the seat allocated to him/her, and does not wish to participate in the further rounds of INI CET counselling

Option 2: Candidate accepts the seat allocated to him/her, but would like to participate in the next round of INI CET 2025 Nov counselling

Option 3: Candidate refuses the seat allocated to him/her, but wishes to participate for the next round of counselling of INI CET 2025

Option 4: Candidate refuses the seat allocated to him/her and also opts out of the next round of counselling for INI CET 2025

Step 7: Reporting to the Institute for verification of the documents

Candidates who accept the seat allocated to them have to report to the allotted institute for the verification of the documents. Those who fail to report to the institute will lose the seat allocated to them and will not be eligible to participate in the next round of counselling. The candidate can, however, participate in the open round of INI CET counselling.
