Can I change choices for round-2 INI CET counselling?

No. You can't change preferences of choice for round-2 INI CET counselling. Seats are allotted based on already declared choices in round-1. It must be noted, choices have to be declared and locked in the given deadline otherwise it will get locked automatically.

Is choice declaration mandatory for INI CET counselling?

Yes. Candidates have to exercise their choice for college and course for INI CET counselling. They can declare as many choices as they want for seat allotment. Candidates can add/delete choices for INI CET 2025 counselling till the deadline. Choices have to lock the choices too otherwise it will be locked automatically after the deadline. Once locked, choices cant be modified. AIIMS releases seat allotment result based on choice declared by candidates and other factors such as INI CET score, reservation etc.

Can I use NEET PG scores during INI CET counselling?

No. NEET PG score will not be valid for INI CET counselling. Candidates will have to qualify INI CET exam with the minimum cut off percentile to participate in the counselling round. Candidates will have to do registration online to participate in the counselling. Apart from registration, INI CET seat allotment includes choice filling, seat processing, allotment result, and reporting for document verification. 4 rounds of counselling will be held for INI CET seat allotment.

Can I add/delete/reorder choices before seat allotment?

Yes, candidates can add/delete/reorder their preference for choices before the deadline. It is not necessary to declare choices in one go. Candidates can do so as many times they wish unless they have already submitted and locked the choices (Institute and subject/speciality) or the deadline gets over. Candidates have to save the choices (Institute and subject/speciality) in case they wish to further add/delete/reorder them later on. Dates for INI CET 2023 choice filling and locking will be declared by AIIMS.

Has AIIMS announced result for INI CET 2025 round-2 counselling?

Yes. As per schedule, round-2 INI CET 2025 counselling result was announced on January 9, 2026. Seat allotment result was uploaded online in PDF format. Seats were allotted based on declared choices in round-1 counselling. Institute reporting had to be done till January 15, 2026. AIIMS conducts 4 rounds including mock for seat allocation.

Who are eligible for the counselling of INI CET?

Those who will qualify INI CET 2025 November exam can participate in the counselling round. Candidates have to qualify the exam with the minimum cut off to become eligible for INI CET counselling. The minimum qualifying cut percentile for general and SC/ST categories are 50 and 45 respectively. INI CET 2025 counselling comprises a series of process starts with registration. Candidates will have to register on the official website, aiimsexams. Registration is followed by declaration of preferences where candidates provide their choice for college and course. AIIMS allots seats based on choice declared, INI CET score, reservation factor, available seats in particular course or college etc.

How many rounds of counselling are there in INI CET?

A total of 4 rounds of counselling is held for allotment of seats including mock round. The counselling starts with the mock round followed by round-1, round-2, and open round. It must be noted online registration and declaration of choice of college and course is mandatory exercise to become elligible for seat allotment.

Can I participate in the third round of INI CET counselling if I choose option 2 in the first round?

No, you cannot participate in third round if you choose Option 2 in first round. However, you can participate in open round of INI CET 2025 counselling. Choosing option is mandatory for seat allotment. Failure to login and selecting an option within given deadline will lead to forfeiture of allotted seat. INI CET 2025 Nov counselling will be held online.

What if I am not satisfied with the seat allotted to me in INI CET counselling round-1?

In case you are not satisfied with the allotted seats in round-1 INI CET counselling, you have an option to participate in round-2. What you have to do is to choose option 2, providing willingness to upgrade the seat. It must be noted after seat allotment, candidates do have to choose options, providing willingess for further rounds. Failure to login and selecting an option within date and time specified can lead to forfeiture of the allotted seat and render you ineligible for round 2.

What are the passing marks for INI CET result?

Candidates need to score the minimum cut off marks to qualify for INI CET exam. The qualifying marks is different for different category. To qualify for the INI CET exam, a candidate of general category needs to score 50th percentile or above. Candidates who belong to SC/ST category has to score 45th percentile marks to get it through. Based on cut off marks, a merit list is prepared. The merit list comprises eligible candidates to participate in different counselling rounds for seat allotment.

Can I edit my choices after INI CET form closing date?

No. Candidates can't edit preferences of choice for INI CET after closing date. It must be noted choices have to be locked as well in the given deadline otherwise it gets locked automatically. Seats are allotted based on declared choices, available seats in particular course and college and other factors. After allotment, candidates do need to report physically for document verification.

How to complete registration and generate a new password for INI CET seat allocation?

Those who register for the first time for seat allocation, they have to login to the official website and click the link 'Register and Set a new password' on the Online Seat Allocation portal. Candidates are advised to follow the instructions to set new password. It must be note this password is different from the password required to access MyPage. Candidates should save both the passwords carefully.

What is the venue for INI CET counselling?

Candidates are not required to go anywhere to attend the INI CET 2025 counselling process, as it will be conducted online. Those who will qualify INI CET 2025 with the minimum cut off will be able to participate in various rounds of counselling. If I have been allotted a seat in round one of INI CET counselling, can I participate in round two for upgradation?

Yes, you can participate in INI CET 2025 round two counselling for upgradation but there is a condition for that. For upgradation, you have to choose option 2 where you provide willingness to participate in second round. After seat allotment in round-1, candidates have to login and actively choose out of two options. Option 1 says that you accept the seat and don't want to participate in further rounds while option 2 says you accept the seat but you want to participate in second round of seat allocation.

Is it compulsory to present the INI CET admit card in the counselling round?

Yes. Candidates do have to carry the admit card during reporting. Apart from admit card, candidates do need to present documents such as allotment letter, registration slip, MBBS/BDS degree Certificate Marksheets of MBBS/ BDS professional examinations, Internship completion Certificate Provisional/permanent registration Certificate issued by MCI/state medical council or DCI/state dental council, Class 10 certificate/ birth Certificate Class 12 mark sheet etc. If a candidate doesn't present the documents in the given deadline, their admission may be disrupted.

Open round registration for INI CET 2025 counselling started on January 23, 2026. Students who are elligible for open round can register online. Those who didn't register earlier can do for INI CET 2025 nov open round counsleling till January 30, 2026. AIIMS will upload seat allotment result for INI CET 2025 counselling open round on February 20, 2026. Seat allotment result PDF will be uploaded at aiimsexams.ac.in and students will have to download it. Reporting process will conclude on February 28, 2026.

Seat are alloted based on INI CET rank, declared choices and other factors. Open round result PDF will comprise details such as overall rank, roll number, allotted institute, course etc. A total of 4 rounds of counselling is held for INI CET seat allocation including mock round.
