NEET PG 2026 exam pattern: NBE will release NEET PG pattern 2026 along with the official information brochure. According to NEET PG pattern 2026, the test paper will compriss 200 questions and candidates will get 3.5 hours to answer the paper. This year also time bound sections rule will be applicable. It means candidates will have to finish the questions of a particular section first and only after he/she exausts the allotted time of the particular section, he/she can move to other section. candidates will not be allowed to review the questions or modify their responses for a section after the completion of its allotted time. NEET PG exam for 2026-27 is expected to be held in August 2026. 

The exam pattern comprises the structure of the exam, number of questions, language options, exam duration, and the marking system. Candidates get an idea about NEET PG total marks through the exam pattern. Candidates should know about NEET PG pattern before starting their preparation. Understanding the NEET PG Pattern 2026

Mode of the examination: According to NEET PG 2026 exam pattern, the examination will be conducted in a computer-based mode (online). Candidates can appear for NEET PG mock tests to understand the NEET PG 2026 exam pattern. 

Medium of the examination: Candidates do not have the option to attempt NEET PG examination in regional languages. NEET PG 2026 examination will be held in English language only.

Duration of the examination: The NEET PG exam pattern suggests that the duration of the examination is 3.5 hours.

Total number of questions asked in the examination: The total number of NEET PG questions asked in the exam is 200. The question paper is divided into five sections with 40 questions each. Candidates get 42 minutes to solve each section. As per the time bound section, candidates can't attempt questions in next section, till they exhausts allotted time of previous section. One the alltted time gets over, next section will appear automatically on screen. NBE doesn't release subject wise weightage for NEET PG officially. However, the table given below highlights subjectwise weightage of NEET PG based on students' feedback and experts' suggestions.

Yes. NBE released NEET PG 2025 merit list for 50% All India quota seats on August 27, 2025. the merit list was uplaoded online in PDF format, comprising deatials such as NEET PG 2025 rank, AIR rank, AIR category etc. NBE has already released NEET PG 2025 result on August 19, 2025.
