JIPMAT Exam Day Guidelines

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the JIPMAT 2025 exam today, i.e. April 26, 2025. Students who are appearing for the Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test (JIPMAT) for the academic session 2025 have to follow the exam day guidelines before and during the examination period. The students have to take their JIPMAT admit card 2025 to the examination centre. Along with the hall ticket, students have to take an identification card to the examination centre. JIPMAT 2025 Exam Day Guidelines

Provided below are the JIPMAT exam day guidelines that are to be followed during and before the examination time: 

  • Candidates must arrive at the exam centre with their JIPMAT admit card and a valid government ID for verification. 
  • No candidate will be permitted to enter the exam centre without the proper documents.
  • Candidates must reach the exam centre at least one hour before the exam commencement time.
  • Electronic gadgets such as mobile phones and calculators are not permitted within the examination centre.
  • Candidates must sign their admission cards in the presence of the Invigilator.
  • Sheets for rough work will be available at the exam centre.

  • No candidate is allowed to leave the exam centre before the exam is completed.

  • Candidates are not permitted to bring any electronic devices, such as smartwatches or calculators, to the exam centre.

  • Candidates who commit malpractices will be disqualified and will not be examined for the JIPMAT exam.

Q:   What are the documents required at the JIPMAT exam center?

Candidates appearing for the JIPMAT exam need to carry a few documents to the exam centre. Officials at the JIPMAT exam centre may deny entry if the candidate fails to produce the following documents: 1. JIPMAT admit card 2. Photo ID Proof: Candidates must carry a valid photo ID proof such as - Aadhaar Card - PAN Card - Voter ID - Driving License - Passport 3. Passport-size photograph 4. Any other document mentioned on the admit card Candidates must carry the original and valid copies of the documents mentioned above. Additionally, candidates must ensure that the details mentioned on the hall ticket and ID proof match accurately. In case of any discrepancies, the candidate may not be allowed to appear for the exam.
Q:   What is the timing for the JIPMAT exam?
A:
JIPMAT is a national level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency NTA for IPM admission in IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya. The exam is held once a year with a duration of 150 minutes (2 hours 30 minutes). NTA conducts the JIPMAT exam in a single shift across various test centres in India. The exam time may vary across different exam years, for JIPMAT 2023, NTA is conducting the exam from 3 PM to 5:30 PM. Candidates can find the JIPMAT exam time in the information bulletin.
