JIPMAT 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release JIPMAT notification on its official website, nta.ac.in. Along with the notification, NTA will begin the JIPMAT registration process. Candidates aspiring for IPM admissions at IIM Jammu or IIIM Bodh Gaya must fill JIPMAT application form. As per the tentative JIPMAT 2026 exam date, NTA will conduct the test in the May or June.

More than 14,000 candidates are expected to apply for JIPMAT 2026 exam to fight against 120+ seats at participating IIMs. In the previous exam session as many as 14538 candidates registered for JIPMAT exam. What is JIPMAT?

JIPMAT is a national-level entrance exam conducted for admission to a 5-Year Integrated Program in Management (IPM) course offered at IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu. The exam is conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) with a total duration of 2.5 hours. To ensure accessibility for candidates nationwide, the test is administered in more than 75 cities across India. The JIPMAT exam has 100 questions divided into three sections, as mentioned below:

JIPMAT Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates need to fulfill the JIPMAT eligibility conditions before they proceed to fill out the application form. The space below mentions the JIPMAT el igibility criteria 2026:

  • Candidates should pass the Class 12 examination in any stream or equivalent with a minimum of 60 per cent aggregate (55 per cent for candidates from SC/ST/PwD) or more in the year 2024, 2025 or appearing in 2026.

Nearly 14,000 candidates register to compete against 120 seats combined in IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu in the previous examination session. NTA conducts JIPMAT exam as the gateway to IPM courses offered by IIM Jammu and IIM Bodh Gaya. Candidates can get IPM admission only after they have passed Class 12 exams with a specified aggregate score. However, NTA provides the liberty to appear for the JIPMAT exam event before the Class 12 results are released. Candidates who are waiting for the Class 12 results are allowed to appear for the exam. Such candidates will have to produce the passing Certificate with all the relevant documents before the final admission offer can be released.
Q:   Are JIPMAT mock tests free of cost?

Yes, candidates can appear for official JIPMAT mock tests for free. NTA does not charge any candidate to appear for the mock tests. However, a demo login window appears as soon as the candidate selected the exam mock test type from the drop-down menu. While taking the actual exam, instead of the demo login window, the candidate will have to provide the login credentials to take the exam. Besides the login window, JIPMAT mock test and the actual exam has no major difference. Therefore, candidates must take the JIPMAT mock tests seriously.
