Documents Required for UGAT Application Process 2026

Students filling UGAT application form must make sure they have following documents:

  • Scanned images of photograph (200 pixels x 300 pixels) and signature (200 pixels x 300 pixels) in JPG/JPEG format

  • Caste Certificate (for reserved category candidates)

Important Instructions While Filling UGAT 2026 Application Form

Students must remember following points when filling UGAT application form 2026:

  • Submitting a complete UGAT exam application form 2026 is important to be eligible to take UGAT exam. If it is half filled, the form will be rejected at screening level. Such students will not be issued UGAT exam admit card 2026. 
  • Students should check details entered in the UGAT form 2026. The details should be valid and true, such as academic qualifications, date of birth, father’s/mother’s name, permanent address, email ID and phone number, etc. 
  • Photograph should not be older than 3 months. The photograph uploaded in application form should match the one which is to be carried to UGAT exam centre.
  • Students have to choose 5 colleges during the application process
  • The allocation of test centres will be done on a first come first served basis.

Students should avoid following mistakes:

  • Do not refresh the page when making the fee payment. 
  • An incomplete transaction will lead to an incomplete registration process.

AIMA Under Graduate Aptitude Test is conducted once a year. The exam is conducted for admission to undergraduate courses such as Integrated MBA, BBA, BCA and BHM and other courses by the All India Management Association. 

Students can apply only once.

How to Apply for UGAT 2026?

Students have to follow process below to fill UGAT 2026 application form online: 

  • Go to website of AIMA
  • Click on online registrations by students for 2026 UGAT in the quick links section
  • Click on Fresh Student to create login button and register with details including name, date of birth, email id, etc. and submit
  • They will receive an acknowledgement on their registered email ID
  • Click on Proceed to login and log in again with the email id and date of birth
  • Click on Fill Application button and fill in details such as the choice of city, address, mobile number, academic details, etc. 
  • Upload a photograph and signature and make a fee payment to complete the registration
  • Take a printout of the UGAT 2026 application form

Note: All India Management Association will release list of participating UGAT colleges in which candidates can apply for admission. Students will have the option to choose five colleges at time of UGAT registration 2026.

How to Obtain UGAT Application Form Offline?

  • Candidates can obtain the UGAT application form from institutes listed with AIMA or from AIMA’s head office located at Lodhi Road New Delhi against cash payment of INR 750/-
  • The application form can also be obtained via post by sending a DD of INR 750/- to AIMA. The DD should be drawn in favour of the “All India Management Association” payable at New Delhi. 
  • Candidates also need to attach two self-addressed slips / adhesive stickers

Students should know that UGAT 2026 application form must be submitted before the last date. And, the details mentioned on the form are correct. Forms having incomplete or incorrect information will be rejected.

  • Students should have cleared Class 12 from a recognised board
  • Minimum marks required are 50 per cent.

Q:   I am unable to upload my signatures in the UGAT registration form. What should I do?

Photograph and signatures to be uploaded in UGAT form should be in prescribed format and size. Students cannot upload other dimensions.

Yes, the UGAT application fee can be paid online as well as offline. Paying the application fee is important to complete the UGAT application process. Candidates who opt to pay the application fee online can do so through a credit card, debit card, banking wallets or internet banking.

The AIMA UGAT application fee is INR 750. There is no fee concession for reserved category and the application fee is the same.

Q:   I am in Class 12 and want to appear for UGAT exam, can I fill the registration form of UGAT without the results of 12th class?
A: 

Yes, students who are in Class 12 or are awaiting for their Class 12 results can certainly apply for the UGAT exam. The basic eligibility crtieria for appearing for the UGAT exam is as follows:

  • Candidate must have secured at least 50% aggregate at Class 12 level
  • There is no age bar. Candidates of any age can appear for the exam.
  • Applicants in Class 12 or awaiting the results are also eligible to apply provisionally. This means that they would be requireed to present their Class 12 marksheet, school leaving certificate, transfer certificate, etc. at the time of admission. If the candidate fails to submit the required documents, then, their candidature will be cancelled.
Q:   How to login to the AIMA UGAT website to apply for UGAT exam?
A: 

The UGAT application/registration forms will be available online only on the official website of AIMA. The students who wish to appear for the UGAT exam, have to fill out the UGAT application form online along with paying the online application fee. In other words, UGAT application process is completely online and there is no provision of offline application. Candidates who wish to appear for the UGAT exam must follow the steps mentioned below to know how to register for the UGAT exam and log in to the AIMA website:

  • Visit the official website of AIMA

  • Click on the registration link for UGAT exam

  • The candidate needs to generate a User ID and password using details such as name of the candidate, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, etc. 

  • This User ID and password will also be sent to the candidate through registered email and SMS

  • Next, the candidate needs to re-login using the credentials

  • The next step is to enter the required details in the UGAT application form. Candidates must ensure that they enter the correct details as the same cannot be changed later

  • Pay the registration fee through a Credit/Debit Card or internet Banking

  • Candidates belonging to reserved categories need to submit valid and attested certificates supporting their reservation category

The duration of UGAT exam is 2 hours or 120 minutes. Students have to take the exam in the paper based test mode by visit the exam centre. The students cannot leave the exam hall before the time gets over.
