CEED Result 2027 - IIT Bombay will declare the results of CEED 2027 on March 03, 2027. CEED 2027 result will include the Part A marks for all candidates. Part B marks are released only for candidates who meet the Part A CEED 2027 cut-off.
CEED 2027 Score Cards will be made available on March 10, 2027 on the Candidate portal. It will be valid for a period of one year from the date of declaration of the result.
IIT Bombay is also expected to release the CEED Topper List and detailed exam statistics, including the number of candidates appearing, registered, and qualified. Open Rank: Open rank is given to candidates whose total CEED score and marks in Part-A are equal to or more than the minimum qualifying marks

EWS Rank: This rank is given to General category candidates who belong to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) of the society. Such candidates are also given Open ranks as there is no separate cutoff for such candidates.

SC/ST/OBC-NCL Rank: This rank is given to candidates who belong to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Other Backward Class (OBC) categories. However, the ranks of such candidates are retained only if they are able to produce original certificates issued by the relevant authority at the time of verification of documents. If any candidate fails to produce the relevant document, s/he is considered under Open category only.

Open PwD Rank: This rank is valid for General category candidates who are physically disabled. However, similar to SC/ST/OBC-NCL rank, candidates can retain the Open Persons with Disability (PwD) rank only if they are able to produce relevant documents at the time of verification of documents.

SC/ST/OBC-NCL PwD Rank: This rank is valid for SC/ST/OBC category candidates who are physically disabled. If any candidate fails to produce the relevant document at the time of verification, s/he will be considered for admission as per their SC/ST/OBC rank or Open rank, as applicable.

The candidate must note that IIT Bombay is only responsible for conducting the CEED Entrance exam. Unlike UCEED, it will not conduct any Joint Seat Allotment.
This means the eligibility criteria prescribed by IIT Bombay are limited to appearing in the CEED exam. Further, the participating institutes of CEED will individually determine the eligibility criteria for the M.Des courses. The eligibility criteria will be uploaded on the admission portals of these institutes.
IIT Roorkee doesn't offer PhD in Design course through CEED. It only offers a MDes in Industrial Design. Admission to the M.Des programme will be based on CEED merit rank. The candidate will have to apply directly to the participating college once results are declared.
The cutoff for CEED Admission is expected to be out after the release of the CEED result and scorecard. CEED result and Scorecard will be used for CEED Admission in various IITs.

Final score = 0.25 × Marks scored in Part-A + 0.75 × Marks scored in Part-B

What After CEED Result?
After the declaration of the CEED Result, individual institutes open their admission process on the basis of CEED Score. Candidates need to apply to them. No counselling is conducted for CEED by IIT Bombay.
The following should be done once CEED Result is declared.
1. Apply to Participating Institutes and Result Sharing Institutes: Candidates who have qualified for M.Des need to fill the M.Des application form for institutes (IITs and other) in which they wish to study. Each institute will have their own admission process and dates for admission.
2. Written Exam/Design Test: Some of the insttutes may conduct their written test to give admission to CEED qualified students.
3. Personal Interview: Some of the institutions may interview the CEED-qualified students. Students may be asked to prepare a portfolio and appear for the interview.
How to get admission to IITs after CEED result is announced?
- Candidates who have qualified CEED 2027 Exam should submit an Application form in the participating college.
- Candidates will be shortlisted for the next round by the institute. The next round will be an online interview.
- Submit the portfolio and appear for the online interview.
- Result will be declared for the selected students who have cleared the interview, and they will be asked to submit the fee and complete the formalities
