NIFT 2025 Form Correction Window (10-12): How to Edit Online Form @nift.ac.in

IIT Bombay will conduct the UCEED 2025 exam on January 19, 2025. The exam will have two parts - 1) computer-based Part A, and 2) offline-based Part B.

Admit cards for the exam were released on January 3, 2025.

NTA is expected to release the NIFT 2025 city intimation slip before the admit card.

The intimation slip is not the same as the NIFT admit card. So, if you bring the NIFT 2025 city intimation slip instead of the admit card, you will not be allowed to take the NIFT 2025 exam.

NIFT 2025 admit cards for the written exam will be released tentatively around the 3rd week of January 2025. Admit cards will be released for all successfully registered candidates. Download the admit card using candidate credentials.

If you have selected the wrong category when filling out the NIFT 2025 application form, it is important that you fix the category using the NIFT application form correction window.

If you don’t correct the category, you may be disqualified.

Admission officials will not consider you for admission unless you have opted for the correct category.

Yes, the candidate can also change the category of admission. To change the category, log-in to the application correction portal, go to the category option, and then select the required category.

If you are opting for open category from a reserved category, then you will also have to pay any extra fee that may be applicable. 

However, no fee will be refunded for a change in category.

To make corrections in the NIFT 2025 application form follow these steps:

1. Go to the NIFT 2025 admission portal
2. Click on the application correction tab
3. Log in to the portal using your application number, email ID, and DOB
4. Open the application form
5. Edit the required categories
6. Submit the form

The candidate can edit all the particulars in the NIFT 2025 application form, including the admission category, exam center, photograph, signature, etc.

The only particulars that can’t be edited are the email ID and phone number.

The correction window is open from January 10-12. Candidates who haven’t made corrections yet, need to complete the task by today.

Once the window closes, no option will be given to make the corrections.

Candidates needs to prepare for the following topics for NIFT 2025 GAT:

The personal interview will evaluate the following skills.

NIFT officials will provide items required for making the model during the NIFT 2025 Situation Test.

Sample materials will include Glaze Papers, Plasticine Clay, Copper Wire, Ivory Sheets, Cardboard, Thermocol (thick And Thin), Kite Papers, Handmade Sheet, Coloured Clay, Cellophane, Fabric, Thread, Ribbon, Straw, Aluminum Foil, etc.

The candidate will be provided with the necessary items inside the exam hall. They can’t use any other items.

To do well in the Situation Test, you must know to use these materials. One must learn to use as many different items as possible, instead of experimenting with a limited set of items.

The Situation Test will be conducted by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). The role of the NTA is limited to the conduct of the written exams - the Creative Ability Test (CAT) and the General Ability Test (GAT).

NIFT will also conduct the counseling and seat allotment.

The Situation Test will be conducted at NIFT Campuses. The name and address of the exam center allocated to the candidate will be mentioned on the admit card.

Note that separate admit cards will be allocated for the Situation Test. Also, only B.Des candidates need to take the Situation Test.

The NIFTs are among the most popular destinations for design candidates. The older NIFTs are, especially, is heavy demand considering they offer some of the best placement opportunities.

The candidate has to select exam centers for NLEA at the time of filling out the application form. The list of available exam centers is given below.

The NIFTs offer B.Des and B.F.Tech courses through the NLEA scheme. The program-wise seat intake is given below.

The mock tests are best suited closer to the exam. Unlike sample papers, mock tests are not intended to help you with the nitty gritties of how you imrpove problem solving.

Instead, they are last minute rituals to ensure you can fix silly errors and give final touches to your preparation.

There is no ideal number, as each candidate has his or her strengths and weaknesses. Solve at least haf a dozen.

The more sample papers you solve, the better you will get. But make sure that you are not solving the sample types of problems again and again. There must be some variety for the exercise to be useful.

It is a must to solve sample papers when preparing for an exam like NIFT. The exercise will help the candidate better understand various concepts, how to use these concepts to solve different types of problems, and improve time-management skills.

The candidate must solve sample papers very early on in their exam prep.

The candidate will be evaluated in the following parameters in the GAT paper.

The exam timings for the NIFT 2025 exam is given below.

The candidate will need the following documents on the day of the NIFT 2025 exam:

• NIFT 2025 admit card
• A valid, original, and non-expired photo ID
• An additional photograph to be attached to the attendance sheet
• The self-declaration form duly filled in

The candidate is not allowed to bring the NIFT 2025 question paper outside the exam venue. Doing so is an offence, and the candidate may be penalized.

Note that the candidate is covered by a non-disclosure agreement. So, they can’t reveal details about specific questions.

The GAT paper for all the programs will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) mode. 

This means there will be no physical question paper. The candidate will have to enter their responses in the computer system.

The candidate can bring any of the following documents as ID proof.

• PAN card
• Driving License
• Voter ID
• Passport
• Aadhaar Card with photograph
• E-Aadhaar with photograph

The Creative Ability Test (CAT) is only mandatory for the B.Des and M.Des courses. If you are applying for the B.F.Tech program, you needn’t take the CAT paper.

CAT paper assess the design and drawing abilities of the candidates.

Candidates appearing for the B.Des program aren’t required to appear in the Situation Test. They only need to tale the NIFT 2025 written exam.

The final result for the B.F.Tech program will be based on  GAT scores.

The Quantitative Ability section will include 20 questions for the B.Des and M.Des courses.

To prepare for the section, one of the the best options can be NIFT Arihant books. The book is availbale online through e-commerce portals like Amazon, Flipkart, etc.

RS Aggarwal is another good book.

The NIFT 2025 exam in conducted in two parts: GAT and CAT.

The GAT or the General Ability Test is mandatory for all courses. However, only B.Des and M.Des candidates need to take the CAT (Creative Ability Test).

The Fashion Interior (FI) program has an intake capacity of 41 seats. 

This includes 34 seats for All-India candidates and 7 state-domicile seats. The candidate will have to select their category when applying for NIFT 2025

• NIFT 2025 Prospectus

NTA will conduct the NIFT 2025 written exams on February 9, 2025. The exam will be held in 82 cities across India.

The candidate had to select their choice of exam center when filling out the NIFT 2025 application form.

The NIFT entrance exam is conducted once every year. The application form of NIFT opens around November-December.

The candidate gets around 1 month time to apply for the exam.

The written exams are conducted in February.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) no longer conducts the NIFT 2025 entrance exam. It is currently conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA)

The candidate can assess the application edit link both on the National Institute of Fashion Technology and NTA portals.

The NIFT 2025 application form is now closed. So, you can’t apply for the exam any longer. 

The only way you can apply is if the NTA extends the NIFT 2025 application form.

The NIFT 2025 application correction window is open from January 10-12. Using the correction window, the candidate can edit all the particulars in the application form, except for the email ID and mobile number.

Only registered candidates can edit the application form.

The candidate is allowed to change their admission category using the edit option.

However, if you have changed you category, you may have to pay any additional fees that may be applicable. For instance, if you change you category from SC to Open (for instance), you will have to pay the remaining fee.

But note that if you change you category from Open to SC (ST, etc), no fee will be refunded.

The candidate is not required to pay an fee to make corrections to the submitted application form.

To make corrections, you simply need to log into the portal, access the application form, and make the corrections as and where required.

Submit the form after the corrections have been made.

If you have entered the wrong category in the NIFT 2025 application form, it is very important that you make the corrections using the edit option.

Note that if you don’t make the corrections, your candidature may be rejected.

The application form edit open will be available online. You need to visit the NIFT admission portal and click on the application form correction link.

Alternatively, the edit link will also be updated on this page.

The candidate is not allowed to edit the email ID using the NIFT application form 2025 correction window. 

The mobile number is another detail that can’t be edited.

So, the candidate must bear caution when filling out the form.

The NIFT 2025 application form is currently open with late fees from January 7-9. So, candidates who haven’t yet submitted the form may do so before the deadline.

The candidate is allowed to edit the following information in the NIFT 2025 application form.

The NIFT 2025 late fee application form is open from January 7-9, 2025. The late fee amount is INR 5000.

Note that the late fee is amount is in addition to the application fee.

The category-wise NIFT 2025 application fee is given below.

The NIFT 2025 correction window will open on January 10, 2025. Using the correction facility, the candidate can edit particulars entered at the time of filling out the application form.

The last date to make corrections is January 12, 2025.

The NIFT 2025 application fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable. So, if you have paid the application fee, it won’t be refunded under any circumstances.

The application fee has to be paid online.
