SOFT CET Application Form 2026 - The School of Fashion Technology SOFT CET Application 2026 is open for B.Des and M.Des programmes. Candidates meeting the SOFT CET 2026 eligibility criteria must apply before the last date. The last date has not been announced on the official website. SOFT CET application can be filled with both regular and late fees. The application fee for all the programs is INR 4000.
Candidates must fill out the SOFT CET Enquiry Form to get details on the Application and Exam. As part of the SOFT CET 2026 application filling process, the candidate first needs to fill out an inquiry form. The SOFT CET 2026 exam for UG and PG programmes will be conducted on January 09, 2026 and January 10, 2026.
On submission of the form, the counseling team will call and counsel the candidate about the queries regarding the course. After that, the SOFT CET 2026 registration form link will be emailed to the candidate.

How to Fill SOFT CET 2026 Application Form?
Steps to fill application form of SOFT CET are
Register for SOFT CET
- Go to the Registration link
- Fill in all registration details.
- Provide details such as their valid email ID and an active mobile number.
- Once registered, candidates will be issued a username and password.
Fill SOFT CET application form
- Candidates need to provide their personal, professional, educational, and contact details.
- They need to ensure that they provide correct information in their application form for SOFT CET 2026 exam.
- If at any stage it is found that candidates have not provided correct information, then their candidature will be cancelled.
- Candidates need to upload their latest I-Card-sized photograph in JPEG format at the time of filling out their registration form.

Once SOFT CET registration process is complete, candidates will be sent their username, password and 20 practice/mock questions, which they need to solve within 7 days from the date of their registration. The username and password provided to candidates are to be used by them when they appear for SOFT Online Test 2026.
Candidates are advised to give mobile number (on which they received their username and password) on the day of SOFT CET exam.

Eligibility of SOFT CET 2026
Eligibility criteria for admitting students in First/Second/Third year in different Specializations of B. Design Program.
For B.Des Programme
- XIIth Pass in any Stream – Arts/Commerce/Science/Home-Science/Minimum Competency Vocational Course (MCVC)including National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).
- Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE)/ other State Govt. Technical Education full-time diploma of minimum three years after Std Xth (any stream)
- For NRI & Foreign students with equivalence from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi
Criteria for selecting students for the 1st year (entry-level) college shall conduct aptitude tests based on general knowledge, language and creative testing through studio test. Based on test performance, students may be considered for provisional admission.
The provisional admitted students shall pass the 12th standard exam or equivalent as prescribed by the university with a minimum of 45%.
SOFT CET Procedure
The Entrance Examination will consist of General Ability Test + Creative Ability Test / Group Discussions + Personal Interview. All candidates must give all three tests

- Candidates must have a full-time Degree of minimum 4 year duration in Design/Fine Arts/Applied Arts/Architecture
- Three Year Bachelor Degree from any recognized University, In B Design/ Fashion Technology, B Tech. / 3 years Diploma of Government Polytechnic + Any Bachelor’s Degree & Industry Experience, B.Sc. Textile Science in Apparel Design, B. Sc .Fashion Design. NOTE: For three year Degree program the students will have to do a bridge course of 8 credits in their first year ( 4 credits each Sem I and Sem II)
- Under graduate in any discipline from any institute / university recognized by law in India having an aptitude as well as private diploma certificates in the related field of fashion. ( for this candidate will have to undergo test at college level.) for such candidates university Bridge Program is mandatory as prescribed in curriculum.
