TS PGECET Counselling 2026: Final Phase Seat Allotment Result OUT

The authorities have released TS PGECET 2026 Phase II seat allotment result. Candidates can download their allotment letter by entering their details, such as hall ticket number, rank card information, date of birth, and mobile number. Candidates who want to participate in the TG PGECET MTech counselling must meet the following requirements -

• Must have Indian Nationality
• Candidates must meet local and non-local status requirements as per admission norms
• The minimum qualifying mark is 50% from a recognised university/institute
• For reserved category students, the minimum qualifying mark is 45%

TS PGECET 2026 counselling is conducted online. The authorities conducts the counselling in rounds depending on the availability of seats. The process to apply can be checked below -

• Candidate registration and counselling fee payment - It is first stage of the counselling process.
• Students have to register and pay a fee of INR 1200 (general category) and INR 600 (for reserved category). 
• Now, candidates have to provide their personal, communication, and academic details. 
• After submitting the form, candidates have to visit the TS PGECET help centres to get their documents verified. Students must carry self-attested copies at time of reporting.
• GATE qualified candidates will undergo separate counselling. First preference is given to GATE students first.

Documents Required for TG PGECET MTech Counselling 2026

Candidates must carry the following documents to the help centres -

• GATE scorecard (if applying through GATE)
• TS PGECET scorecard
• Class marksheets and educational qualification certificates
• Resident/domicile certificate
• Aadhar card
• Category certificate
• Income certificate

After document verification, candidates have to fill in their college and course choices. The seat allotment list is released on the website based on ranks obtained and seat availability.

Certificates to be Uploaded during Registration and Filling the Application Form

Candidates who have qualified in GATE / GPAT / TS PGECET are required to upload the following documents for verification:

Scan and upload the original certificates, which include:

• GATE / GPAT Score card / PGECET Rank Card.
• Original Degree / Provisional Certificate (PC) & Consolidated Memorandum Marks (CMM) of the qualifying Examination.
• Intermediate / Diploma / 10+2 Certificate.
• SSC pass certificate or its Equivalent as proof of Date of Birth.
• Bonafide (Study) certificates from Class IX to Graduation.
• Residence certificate for the preceding 7 years of the qualifying examination, i.e., Graduation, for candidates who have pursued private study without any institutionalized education (Distance / Open education mode).
• Integrated community (Caste) certificate issued by the competent authority, if applicable, for BC / SC / ST candidates issued after June 2, 2014.
• Latest Income Certificate on or before January 1, 2025, if applicable.
• Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) Reservation certificate
• Non-local candidates need to submit specific certificates to be considered for allotment under unreserved seats. Residence or Employer certificates are also needed for the verification process.

TS PGECET 2026 Counselling: Important Instructions 

• The candidate once allotted seat must note that if they exercise options in the second counselling round, then seat is allocated as per options, the vacated seat will be allotted to next meritious candidates, and hence they have no claim on previous allotment. 
• Special category applicants must book slot online and report to the Help Line Centres to complete their verification process.
