VITREE 2026 Counselling
The conducting authorities (Vellore Institute of Technology) will conduct the VITREE 2026 Counselling process after result declaration, which is now available. Candidates qualified for the VITREE exam will be eligible to attend the counselling process. During the counselling, candidates must participate in the document verification process and submit the admission fee. The dates for the VITREE admission counselling were published on the website.
Selected candidates must carry the following documents (original along with one photocopy set) to the VITREE 2026 counselling -
- Tuition fee receipt
- Class X mark sheet
- HSC/+2 mark sheet
- UG/PG degree/provisional degree certificate and year-wise semester-wise consolidated mark sheet.
- Transfer certificate/migration certificate or college leaving certificate
- Nativity certificate for North or Eastern state candidates
- Aadhaar card
- Physical fitness certificate (as per the format)
- Affidavit by parent and student (as per the format)
- Undertaking in the enclosed format
- Six recent colour-size passport photographs
Candidates must get their parent's signature whereever required. The fellowship will begin only after the submission of documents.
Important Instructions
- Once the guide is selected/allotted cannot be changed under any circumstances.
- Candidates who are waiting for their final semester results must submit the original qualification certificate on or before January 27, 2026. For candidates who fail to submit, their PhD candidature will be cancelled.
- Change of categoy from internal full time to external part-time is not allowed.
- Change of campus is also not allowed.
VITREE Result 2026 – Research Fellowship
Applicants declared qualified based on the VITREE 2026 exam result are eligible for a research fellowship. The fellowship will be provided to both GATE exam-qualified and non-qualified candidates. For more details, candidates can refer to the table given below.
