VITREE 2026 Exam Pattern: Vellore Institute of Technology has released VITREE exam pattern 2026 for July and January session exam. VITREE test pattern covers details on marking scheme, time duration, syllabus, etc. Candidates who have successfully registered for VITREE exam 2026 will be eligible to appear for paper. The July session exam was conducted on two dates. The VITREEE PhD exam timings were 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The exam was held in 55 cities across India.

The VIT VITREE 2026 offers admission to research-based programs. Selections will be made separately for PhD and Direct PhD courses. Thus, the exam pattern is also different for both courses, which are as follows -

VITREE January/july 2026 Exam Dates

The Vellore Institute of Technology has released the VITREE 2026 exam date. The mode of the exam is computer-based and is held across different cities. The January test was conducted on December 7 across 25 cities in India. There are no international test centres. Candidates must reach the VITREE exam centre an hour before the commencement. Items to carried include- VITREE admit card 2026, pen or pencil, and valid ID proof.

VITREE 2026 Exam Day Instructions

List of VITREE 2026 exam day guildeines can be checked below-

  • Candidates must report to exam center an hour before exam time.
  • Applicant must follow invigilators instructions carefully
  • Items such as mobile phone, electronic gadgets, textbooks, etc. are not allowed.
  • Candidates can carry a pen or pencil for rough calculations. Scratch pad will be provided inside exam hall.
  • No applicants are allowed to leave exam hall before completion of test.
