The State Common Entrance Test Cell releases the application form with the official notification release. Meet the requirements to appear before starting the registration process. The candidate will have to register themselves as a new user, enter their personal details, upload their documents, and pay the fees. 

The entire process can be completed with the listed steps.

• Browse to https://cetcell.mahacet.org/. 
• Under 'Higher Education', click on 'BEd'.
• Click on 'Candidate Login' to get redirected to "Single Sign on Login Page'.
• If you are a new user, click on 'Register' otherwise use registered email ID and CET password to login.
• You can check your registered details like your name, DOB, gender, and chosen course on the redirected page.
• You will find the radio button with 'Have you Appeared for MAH BEd CET 2026?', choose yes or no.
• If yes, enter your registration number with password. Validation will get the pre-filled details. 
• Complete all the details, and upload the documents.
• To submit the form, pay the fees.

MAH BEd CET Application Form Correction

It is strongly advised to all candidates that they must verify all the details they have entered during the registration process. Before locking, they can make any changes in MAH BEd CET Application Form. Tick the checkbox only when you are sure that all the entered details are correct. There are only certain things that can be changed during this window.

During the correction window, unlock the application form to process. Once you have made all the changes, resubmit the option form.

Documents Required during MAH BEd CET Registration

During the registration process, uploading the documents for verification is compulsory. The files that are needed are

• Passport Size Photograph
• Passport of the Candidate/ Country ID Card of the Candidate
• Student's Signature
• Statement of Marks or Certificate of Passing SSC/Qualifying Equivalent Examination/ 10th Marksheet
• Statement of Marks or Certificate of Passing HSC/Qualifying Equivalent Examination/ 12th Marksheet
• Passing Provisional Certificate
• Birth Certificate
• Migration Certificate (Start of Admission)
• PIO / OCI Card
• Proof of Residence
• Eligibility Certificate from the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi (AIU) if candidate passed
• Qualifying examination from abroad.

Before you upload any document, please go through the Information Brochure. Upload only the original documents to avoid rejection during the verification process. If any qualification has multiple marksheet or final Total marks (as entered in application) is different from the marks given in uploaded marksheet, then that candidate must attach a conversion certificate (format is available on website) with all marksheets in a single PDF, mentioning Total marks

Important: Any candidate with more than one Application Number (more than one SCORE CARDS) will be treated as UFM, even if found at a later stage, and strict action will be taken against that Candidate

The State Common Entrance Test Cell prescribes the MAH BEd CET Eligibility Criteria when it releases the information brochure.  

A. Candidates from Maharashtra State

i) The Candidate Should be an Indian National.

(ii) They should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree and/or a Master’s Degree. The subjects could be Sciences and Mathematics /Social Sciences (History/ Geography / Economics / Political Sciences / Psychology / Philosophy / Education /Library) / Humanities Sciences (All Languages and Literature) / Commerce. A minimum of 50% marks for UR, and 45% marks in case of Backward Class categories is needed.

OR

(ii) They should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree and/or a Master’s Degree. The subjects in Engineering and Technology / (with Science and Mathematics as a special subjects) / Bachelor’s Degree with the subjects: Management / Engineering / Computers / Law / Information Technology / Agriculture/ BBI / Medical Sciences / All Social Sciences / Fine Art / Performing Art (Music / Dance / Drama, etc.). The minimum 55% marks (Minimum 50% marks in case of Backward Class categories.

B. All India Candidature Candidates:- Other State Candidates :

(i) The candidate should have passed/appeared in any Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree. The universities must be incorporated by an act of the Central or State Legislature or declared to be a Deemed University.

(ii) Candidate must score a minimum of 55% of marks for all categories.

C. NRI/OCI/PIO/Foreign National Students/CIWGC Candidature

i) The candidate should have valid NRI/OCI/PIO/Foreign National/CIWGC documents mentioned.

(ii) The candidate should have passed/appeared in any Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree. The universities must be incorporated by an act of the Central or State Legislature or declared to be a Deemed University.

(iii) Candidate must score a minimum of 55% of marks for all categories.

D. Eligibility criteria for admission to Kavi Kulguru Kalidas Sanskrit University

Graduates from any university in the faculties of Arts, Science, or Commerce who have qualified in the Common Entrance Test (MAH BEd CET 2026) and have passed the Maharashtra State Secondary or Higher Secondary (SSC/HSC) examination with Sanskrit as one of the subjects, or any higher-level examination with Sanskrit, are eligible for admission to colleges affiliated with Kavi Kulguru Kalidas Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya. Candidates opting for colleges under Kavi Kulguru Kalidas Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya may also choose colleges affiliated with other universities.

Important Notice: -Kavi Kulguru Sanskrit University, Ramtek, Nagpur, under no circumstances will not conduct their own Admission Process. These admissions will not be approved by the Admissions Regulating Authority

Important Note:

• Aggregate marks mean the Grand Total of Marks obtained by the Candidate at the Degree for which the Class/Grade is awarded by the University
• In case the candidates are awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the conversion of grades/CGPA to percentage of marks would be based on the formula/procedure
  certified by the Board/ University/Institution that has awarded the same. It is obligatory on the part of the candidate to bring the Conversion Certificate from the Board/ University/ Institution.
• Candidates should fill in the marks as Aggregate marks, considered by the University/Examining body for the Award of Degree/Class and Grade. Some Universities award Class, Grade, and Degree on the basis of All Three Years’ Degree marks. Some Universities award a Degree/Class/Grade based on Second and /Third Year marks taken together. Some Universities have a semester pattern, and the GPA of all semesters is totaled, and the CGPA is shown. The Universities give CGPA to Marks or a %Formula. The candidates should use that to fill in the Correct Marks.
• If the candidate enters wrong marks and in the college level verification, the admission is rejected for the candidate, the candidate will be responsible for the loss

The process begins once the notification by the State Common Entrance Test Cell is released. After that, all the interested candidates 

Registration

• Click on “New Registration”. Fill in all the required credentials.

• Submit and confirm the details
• Upload the scanned copies of the required documents.
• The candidate has to select the “Centre of Examination”.
• After the completion of the MAH BEd CET 2026 Online Application form, candidates will have to submit the fees online.
• Save a copy application form and fee receipt.

A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated and displayed on the screen. Now, candidates can fill in the Provisional Registration Number and Password to log in and apply for the MAH BEd CET exam.

Fill out the MAH BEd CET Application Form 

Candidates can fill out the application form. They need to enter their name, their father/husband, academic details in the application form. They also need to upload the scanned image and signature before submitting the application form. Now, candidates are required to make the payment by using payment methods like those given below  

• Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro).  
• Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallet.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell conducts the CAP process for eligibile candidates to get them admitted to the BEd colleges across Maharashtra. It is conducted in three phases with institution round. Candidates must register and pay the counselling fee to get seat allotted. 

How to Download the MAH BEd CET 2026 Admit Card?

• To download the admit card of MAH BEd CET, browse to State Common Entrance Test website.
• On the homepage, they will see a short notice titled “MAH BEd admit card” they must click on the link.
• A login window will open where they will have to enter their credentials such as registration number/roll number and password/date of birth.
• Candidates must take the printout of the admit card and affix their recent photograph on it. They must carry the admit card to the exam center along with one valid photo ID proof.

MAH BEd CET 2026 Admit Card: Documents Required

On exam day, candidate must bring some documents along with admit card. These are needed for identity check and verification.

Candidates can choose 3 exam centres during the registration process. They will be allocated the centre considering their choices, hall capacity, and the total students who have successfully filled the MAH BEd CET Application Form.

Important: Candidate has to opt for any three centres. Any one of them can be allocated to the Candidate. A candidate cannot select the centre already selected again as a second/third option. No Centre/Venue/Shift change request will be entertained by the Competent Authority. Hence, the candidates should choose the centres where they can travel.
