UGC NET 2026 Re-exam Analysis: The National Testing Agency conducted the UGC NET Re-Exam of English Subject on September 9, 2026. Today is English and Commerce subjects UGC NET June session re-exam. As per the feedback received from the students, we are providing the UGC NET 2026 exam analysis for Sep 9 including the overall difficulty level, questions or topics asked, memory-based questions and answers etc. The UGC NET 2026 exam was conducted from June 22 to June 30.
In September 9 (Shift 1) subject whose exam is conducted is English and in Shift 2, Commerce exam will be held. On September 10, Sociology exam will be conducted in first shift.

As per the students' reactions, UGC NET 2026 Sep 9 Shift 1 English re-exam Paper 1 overall difficulty level was Moderate. Some students' felt Easy. DI was moderate, RC was easy. Analysis is important for candidate in NTA NET exam. It helps in preparation, understand paper structure, difficulty level, topics asked or high weightage areas, expected cutoff. By analyzing mock tests and previous years papers students can prepare well.
The UGC NET exam has two papers namely Paper 1 and Paper 2. The duration of an exam is three hours. Paper 1 is common for all the candidates and Paper 2 is subject-specific. In Paper 1, total questions asked are 50 and in Paper 2, total questions asked are 100. Questions asked in the form of MCQs. Paper 1 is of 100 marks and Paper 2 is of 200 marks.
