UPTET is a Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) for the recruitment of primary and upper primary level teachers in schools of Uttar Pradesh (UP). The exam comprises two papers – I and II. Paper-I is conducted for candidates who plan to teach classes I to V. Paper-II is conducted for candidates who plan to teach classes VI to VIII.

UPTET Eligibility 2019

UPTET eligibility criteria for paper-I and paper-II are different. Candidates possessing a bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university or college are eligible to apply for paper-I of UPTET exam.

On the other hand, candidates who have cleared their graduation/ post-graduation with minimum 50 percent marks fulfill UPTET 2019 eligibility criteria for paper-II.

UPTET Registration 2019

Candidates can fill UPTET application form 2019 online on the official website of UPBEB. It may be noted that candidates who wish to appear for both the papers need to fill two separate application forms for the exam. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to register for UPTET 2019 exam:

UPTET Exam Pattern 2019
