State Bank of India (SBI) is conducting SBI PO 2020 prelims exam amid COVID-19. The exam will conclude on January 6, 2021. Lakhs of candidates are appearing in the exam, conducted across various cities in multiple shifts. Adequate safety precautions have been taken at the exam centre due to COVID-19 pandemic. The security guards at the entry gate ensured that all candidates wore a mask. Candidates were allowed to carry hand sanitiser inside the exam. Registration of candidates was done through photo capture. Temperature of candidates was checked at the entry gate.

SBI PO 2020 Preliminary exam pattern is such that the paper comprises three sections: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. The duration of the test is one hour. The test paper comprised 100 objective-type multiple-choice questions. The total marks allotted to the exam are 100. There is also negative marking for wrong answers.

The overall paper in terms of difficulty level was moderate. English Language section was easy, Quantitative Aptitude was moderate and the Reasoning Ability section was moderate to difficult. This time, there were no questions on Number Series in Quantitative Aptitude section. Shiksha visited one of the exam centres in Dibrugarh to cover SBI PO 2020 exam and gather the feedback of candidates regarding the difficulty level of the exam.

SBI PO 2020 Exam Analysis by Students

Candidates can check below the feedback shared by the candidates regarding the overall difficulty level of the exam.

Vishal: "The paper was a bit lengthy and I could not complete the paper on time. The English Language section was easy to moderate. The passage of Reading Comprehension was based on man and machines. The Quantitative Aptitude section was moderate. There were two sets of Data Interpretation. The Reasoning section was a bit lengthy and difficult. There were five sets of puzzles and seating arrangements-linear, square, classification puzzle, month-based puzzle, order and sequence-base puzzle."

Rishabh Pandit: "The overall paper was good. The difficulty level was moderate. Questions in Reasoning were asked from puzzles and seating arrangement, syllogism, blood relation, alphabet-based, number-based, alphabet pairing. Quantitative Aptitude questions were based on DI, quadratic equation, approximation, miscellaneous word problems. In English language, questions were asked from reading comprehension, phrase and idioms replacement, spotting the error, sentence rearrangement, double fillers, etc."

Hemanta Das: "The paper was good. Questions were asked from puzzles, syllogism, seating arrangement, In Quant, questions were asked from profit and loss, quadratic equation, approximation. There were two questions from DI. In Reasoning, there were four questions on puzzles."

Shivalik Das: "The paper was moderate in terms of difficulty level. In Reasoning, there were four seating arrangement questions, one question on blood relation. There were also questions from the syllogism in Reasoning. In Quantitative, there were questions on DI, approximation, etc. There were no questions on the number series. In English, questions were asked from reading comprehension, fill in the blanks, spotting the errors, etc."

Aarohi: "The paper was moderate and not very tough. The Reasoning was tough and the Quantitative Aptitude section was calculative. The English Language section was moderate. There were questions from syllgosim, puzzles, seating arrangement, DI, simplification, etc."

The SBI PO admit card 2026 will be released on the SBI careers portal officially at sbi.co.in. It will be released online and is a mandatory to carry at the examination centre by the candidate.
