History, Art and Culture

The History questions are asked from the Art and Culture part of the specific era. The questions ask the objective information such as the place, architecture type, the ruler who built a monument and such information. No. The Tier 1 marks for the SSC CGL are not used in the preparation of the final merit list. The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam is qualifying in nature. Candidates are shortlisted for Tier 2 exam. However, the final selection and ranking is based on the marks obtained in the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam.
