The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to release the SSC CGL 2020 notification on its official website on September 15. Along with the notification, the Commission is also expected to release the SSC CGL 2020 application form. Candidates will be able to fill the SSC CGL online form 2020 on the official website of the Commission from September 15 to October 15.
The SSC CGL application fee 2020 is Rs 100. However, the fee is nil for all women and candidates belonging to categories such as Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disability (PwD) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM).

How to Fill SSC CGL Online Form 2020?
Candidates can apply online for SSC CGL 2020-21 exam in two parts – registration and application.
For SSC CGL registration 2020, candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps:
- Visit the official website – ssc.nic.in
- Click on ‘New User? Register Now’ link
- Fill the all details asked in the SSC CGL registration form such as:

- Note down the system-generated registration number and password

Once the photo and signature are successfully uploaded, candidates’ SSC CGL registration process will be complete.

- Enter registration ID and password
- Click on Login
- Click on the link given for filling SSC CGL application form 2020
- Enter all the required details in the CGL application form such as qualifying exam details, preference for exam cities, etc.
- Click on Submit to submit the CGL online form
Last, candidates have to pay SSC CGL application fee 2020 in online or offline mode via SBI Challan/BHIM UPI/Net Banking or by using Visa/Mastercard/Maestro credit/RuPay debit card.

The SSC CGL cut off 2025-26 for Tier 2 was released on April 8, 2026 along with the final result for Tier 2. The Tier 2 exam was conducted on January 18-19, 2026. It was released category and post-wise cutoff PDF. It was released on the official portal at ssc.gov.in.

No. The Tier 1 marks for the SSC CGL are not used in the preparation of the final merit list. The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam is qualifying in nature. Candidates are shortlisted for Tier 2 exam. However, the final selection and ranking is based on the marks obtained in the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam.
