- Go to the official website of the Staff Selection Commission –ssc.nic.in
- Click on the new registration link given just below the login space
- The new registration form will appear on the screen
- Click on the new user link given on the right-hand side of the home page
- Enter an AAdhaar Number in case the candidates have one and verify it.
In case the candidates do not have the aadhaar number, they can also provide other government id proof such as PAN Number and the like.
If the candidate does not provide the Aadhaar Number, s(he) can give any of the following ID proofs.

- Driving Licence

- Class Xth Certificate for roll number
After the id proof, the candidates are required to fill in various personal details such as
- Father’s Name

- State/UT of Permanent Address
Candidates need to submit additional contact details on the second page. After filling in all the details the candidates need to upload their photograph and signature image in the specified format.

No. The Tier 1 marks for the SSC CGL are not used in the preparation of the final merit list. The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam is qualifying in nature. Candidates are shortlisted for Tier 2 exam. However, the final selection and ranking is based on the marks obtained in the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam.
