UGC NET Phase 4 Exam Analysis

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the UGC NET Phase 4 exam for the Sociology Paper on March 11, 2023. The overall difficulty level of the UGC NET Sociology exam was moderate in nature. The UGC NET Phase 4 exam is being conducted on March 11 and 12 for four subjects- Sociology, Computer Science and Application, Law, and Management (including Business Administration Mgt./Marketing / Marketing Mgt. / Industrial Relations and Personnel Mgt. / Personnel Mgt. /Financial Mgt. /Co-operative Management).  

The UGC NET Sociology exam got over at 12:00 pm in the first shift. The second shift exam will be taken for Computer Science and Application on March 11, 2023. Read the article below to know the candidate's reaction to the UGC NET Phase 4 exam.  

UGC NET Phase 4 Overall Difficulty Level- Sociology  

The overall difficulty level of the UGC NET Paper 1 for Phase 4 was easy to moderate in nature. Based on the reaction of the candidates the maths section was difficult, the reasoning and assertion were easy. In the maths section, questions were asked about Data Interpretation, Series, Missing Numbers, Percentages, Simple Interest, etc. The UGC NET Paper 2 exam for Sociology was moderate in nature. Paper 2 was moderate in nature. The questions were asked about Social Movements in Indian, Political Processes in India, Communalism, State Politics and Development, Urbanism, etc.

No. A candidate will not receive the UGC NET City Intimation Slip by post. The authority will release the City slip on the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Candidates required their login credentials to download the city slip including the application number and date of birth.

The NTA released the UGC NET 2026 notification and so the application process dates have been announced for the June session. The application dates are April 29 to May 20, 2026.
