CUET 2026 Application Form Correction
The CUET UG form correction window 2026 will open at cuet.nta.nic.in. Candidates who will complete and submit the CUET 2026 application form can edit the details online. NTA will commence the CUET UG 2026 registrations online tentatively in first week of March 2026. Candidates can apply for CUET UG 2026 until last week of March, and pay the application fee. Candidates can edit the details in the CUET 2026 online form till the prescribed date. The CUET registration 2026 schedule will be updated on release of the official notification.
National Testing Agency conducts CUET under the Ministry of Education (MoE). The exam is conducted to provide admission to various UG and PG courses at various central universities. The CUET exam will be conducted separately for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. How to Correct Details in CUET UG 2026 Application Form?
Only those candidates who submitted the application form and paid the requisite application fee were eligible to make the changes in the application form.

CUET UG 2026 Application Form Correction: Editable and Non-Editable Fields
NTA has stated the editable fields and those which are not editable. The following table brings the list of fields that could be edited, as well as those that NTA mentions: “If there is an impact on the fee, then the additional fee will be charged as applicable. Correction in these fields will be applicable only after payment of an additional fee if any.”

NTA has also stated, “Those candidates who have already submitted their Application Form successfully are also eligible to choose more Subjects (Tests)/Courses (Programmes)/Universities/Institutions /Autonomous Colleges /Organisations. The candidates who have already selected five subjects/tests, can also replace/remove their earlier chosen Subjects/Tests. However, an additional fee (if applicable) for selecting more subjects (tests) will be paid by the candidate. Candidates may note that the fee once paid will not be refunded.”
If any candidate is eligible for a refund, it will be initiated only after the reconciliation of fee data received from the concerned banks/payment gateway integrators with the fee data captured during the online Application Form of CUET 2026.
How to fill CUET 2026 Application Form
Candidates seeking admission can apply for CUET via online mode on the official website of the exam as per the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Registration

Step 3: Examination Centre Selection: Candidates will have to choose two examination state and city choices in the preferential order in which they wish to appear for the exam.
Step 4: Test Paper/Subject Selection: Candidates will have to select a minimum of three and a maximum five CUET subjects or papers. Along with the subject selection, candidates will also have to select the medium or language of the question paper they wish to opt for. In case of selecting less than 10 subjects, candidates will have to select NA: Not Applicable option for the rest of the subject fields.
Step 5: Upload Photograph and Signature
After this step, candidates will have to verify each and every detail entered and also verify their email id. They will receive an OTP in the email id and upon entering that, they will programmed to the CUET 2026 application fee payment section.
Step 6: Application Fee Payment
Candidates had to pay the CUET 2026 registration fee online (net banking/ credit card/ debit card/ UPI/ Wallet). It may be noted that candidates’ application fee status (paid/ not paid) would appear on the form.
Upon successful payment, an application confirmation message will be displayed on the screen and the confirmation message and PDF will be sent to the candidates’ registered email ID as well.
CUET UG 2026 Application Form Mistakes to Avoid
Candidates must note that the NTA can reject the CUET application form 2026. Candidates must avoid the below mistakes:
- Avoid uploading a blurred image of signature.
- Use plain white paper as the background while scanning the images.
- Make sure to upload the qualification certificates as demanded.
How to Download Advance Intimation Slip for CUET 2026 Exam Centre City
Registered candidates had to follow the steps given below to download the CUET 2026 advance exam city intimation slip:
- Visit CUET 2026 website: cuet.nta.nic.in
- Click on ‘Login’ at the bottom left side of the page
- Enter CUET 2026 application number, password and security pin
