CUET 2023 Application Form Correction Window : How to Edit the Details

CUET UG 2023 application correction process was reopened by NTA from May 1 to May 2 based on multiple student requests. Know the latest updates, dates, and other information here on this page. The CUET PG 2023 application correction window was processed from May 12 to May 13. 

The CUET 2023 is to be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) under the Ministry of Education (MoE). The exam is conducted to provide admission in various UG and PG courses in various Central Universities. The CUET exam will be conducted separately for Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses. Candidates who will qualify for the exam will be able to get admission to various universities such as JNU, BHU, Delhi University, etc. This article will provide details about CUET Application Correction 2023.

NTA has received over 14,000 student representations. In the official notice announcing the reason behind reopening the window, CUET has stated, “Representations have also been received from candidates that they could not confirm their changes (add/remove / change) in the Test paper including adding of courses/universities through OTP. There are about 14000 candidates whose applications are in draft as they could not confirm their changes through OTP. In order to ensure that these candidates should not be left out, it has been decided to open the window for updating (adding/removing/changing) their Test Papers and adding courses/universities for a period of two days i.e. from 01 to 02 May 2023.”

CUET UG 2023 application form submission last date was extended to March 30, which was later again extended to April 11. CUET UG 2023 application correction window was opened by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on April 1, at 9 am. The application window was reopened from April 9 to April 11 which was later reopened again from May 1 to May 2. Those who applied for the exam and needed to make the final corrections or modifications to the submitted CUET UG 2023 Application Form could utilise the facility till May 2, 11:50 pm. The CUET UG 2023 exam will be conducted in a window of 10 days, from May 21 to May 31, in three slots. The reserved dates of the exam are scheduled from June 1 to June 7. 

CUET PG 2023 Application forms for the academic session 2023-2024 were released on March 20 by the examination conducting authority, NTA. Candidates will be able to apply online on the CUET website till May 5, 2023. CUET PG 2023 registration date was extended by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the University Grants Commission (UGC) Chief M Jagadesh Kumar confirmed.  CUET PG 2023 registration window reopened from May 9 to May 11, till 9:00 pm. The last day for submission of the online application fee was May 11, till 11:59 pm. Candidates can also edit the CUET PG 2023 online application form if they have done any mistakes while filling up the form. Candidates can also do corrections in their respective CUET PG 2023 application form from May 12 to May 13.  National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct CUET PG from June 5 to June 12, 2023.

How to Make Corrections/Modifications in CUET UG/PG 2023 Application Form

Only those candidates who have submitted the application form and paid the requisite application fee will be eligible to make the changes in the application form. 

If candidates made any mistake in CUET UG 2023/ CUET PG 2023 registration forms so they can correct it in the correction window. Here we have provided steps to correct the application form:

• Visit the website of NTA- cuet.samarth.ac.in 

• Click on CUET 2023 login or application form correction link.

• Then click on the login button & enter user id and password.

•  After login you can change specific details in CUET 2023 Application form.

•  Save the changes and take the printout of the form for future uses.

CUET UG/PG 2023 Application Form Editable and Non-Editable Fields

NTA has stated the editable fields and those which are not. The following table brings the list of fields that can be edited as well as those which NTA mentions, “If there is an impact on the fee, then the additional fee will be charged as applicable. Correction in these fields will be applicable only after payment of an additional fee if any.”

CUET UG/PG 2023 Form Correction - Details cannot be corrected

Applicants cannot make the changes in the following:

• Mobile number

• Email address

• Permanent and correspondence address

NTA has also stated, “Those candidates who have already submitted their Application Form successfully are also eligible to choose more Subjects (Tests)/Courses (Programmes)/Universities/Institutions /Autonomous Colleges /Organisations. The candidates who have already selected 10 subjects/tests, can also replace/remove their earlier chosen Subjects/Tests. However, an additional fee (if applicable) for selecting more subjects (tests) will be paid by the candidate. Candidates may note that the fee once paid will not be refunded.”

If any candidate is eligible for a refund, it will be initiated only after the reconciliation of fee data received from the concerned banks/payment gateway integrators with the fee data captured during the online Application Form of CUET UG 2023.

How to fill CUET  2023 Application Form 

Candidates seeking admission could apply for CUET via online mode on the official website of the exam as per the steps mentioned below:

Step 3: Examination Centre Selection: Candidates will have to choose two examination state and city choices in the preferential order in which they wish to appear for the exam.

Step 4: University/Programme Selection: Candidates will have to apply for one or more universities and programmes from the dropdown menu and click on the Add button. Candidates may change the selected universities/programmes by clicking on the ‘Update’ tab.

Step 5: Test Paper/Subject Selection: Candidates will have to select a minimum of three and a maximum 10 subjects or papers. Along with the subject selection, candidates will also have to select the medium or language of the question paper they wish to opt for. In case of selecting less than 10 subjects, candidates will have to select NA: Not Applicable option for the rest of the subject fields.

Step 6: Upload Photograph and Signature

After this step, candidates will have to verify each and every detail entered and also verify their email id. They will receive an OTP in the email id and upon entering that, they will programmed to the CUET 2023 application fee payment section.

Step 7: Application Fee Payment

Candidates will have to pay the CUET 2023 registration fee online (net banking/ credit card/ debit card/ UPI/ Wallet). It may be noted that candidates’ application fee status (paid/ not paid) would appear on the form.

Upon successful payment, an application confirmation message will be displayed on the screen and the confirmation message and PDF will be sent to the candidates’ registered email ID as well.

CUET UG/PG 2023 Application Form Mistakes to Avoid

Candidates must note that the NTA can reject the CUET application form 2023 for certain reasons. Hence, students are advised to avoid the following mistakes:

• Avoid uploading a blurred image of your signature.
• Use plain white paper as the background while scanning the images.
• Make sure to upload the qualification certificates as demanded.

How to Download Advance Intimation Slip for CUET 2023 Exam Centre City

Registered candidates will have to follow the steps given below to download the CUET 2023 advance exam city intimation slip:

• Visit CUET 2023 website – cuet.samarth.ac.in 
• Click on ‘Login’ at the bottom left side of the page
• Enter CUET 2023 application number, password and security pin
• Click on ‘Login’
• Download the slip

CUET 2023 will be conducted in 13 languages in exam centres located in over 400 cities across India and 24 cities abroad. CUET UG 2023 scores will be accepted by over 200 Universities which are categories into Central, State, Deemed, Private and Other Universities.

CUET is an all-India level entrance exam conducted by NTA for admission in UG and PG courses offered in all the participating institutions. Till 2021, the full name of the exam was Central Universities Common Entrance Test or CUCET, which has been changed by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The exam is conducted once a year in over 500 cities in India and abroad. The exam is conducted in a computer-based mode for two hours. Originally CUCET was conducted by UGC in paper-pencil-based mode. Last year onwards, NTA is conducting the test in a computer-based mode.
