CUET PG 2025 schedule has been released by NTA on its official website. Aspirants preparing for the CUET PG 2025 exam must start their preparation soon in order to ace the examination and get into their desired CUET PG 2025 participating universities. CUET PG registration process began on January 2, 2025. Students must fill out the CUET PG application form 2025 before the end date which is February 1, 2025. The CUET PG 2025 exam is going to be held between March 13, 2025, to March 31, 2025, for those who wish to appear for the CUET PG 2025 Exam.
Students can choose more than three subjects for the CUET PG exam but you guys can select one subject per exam session.

CUET PG 2025 Plant Biotechnology Syllabus

For admission in Universities through CUET (PG)-2026, the existing policies regarding quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, preferences etc. of the respective University shall be applicable.
As the eligibility criteria for admission may be unique for every University, the candidates are advised to visit the University website to which they are applying for their respective programs. Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess the eligibility criteria laid down by the University they are applying to.
Mere appearance in the Entrance Test or securing pass marks at the test does not entitle a candidate to be considered for admission to the Programme unless he/she fulfils the Programme wise eligibility conditions of the University they are applying to.
If candidates have applied for multiple exams in the CUET PG 2025 application form, then those candidates will get multiple advance examination intimation slip and admit cards in different phase wise according to the date of their respective CUET PG 2025 examination.
i. There will be one CUET PG Plan Biotechnology Question Paper which will have 75 questions.
ii. All questions will be compulsory.
iii. From this year, the Question Paper will have only one part i.e. Part A (Domain Specific)
iv. Part B will have 75 questions based on Subject-Specific Knowledge.

Introduction, Cryo and organ genic differentiation, Types of culture: Seed, Embryo, Callus, Organs, Cell and Protoplast culture. Micro propagation Axillary bud proliferation, Meristem andshoot tip culture, cud culture, organogenesis, embryogenesis, advantages and disadvantages ofmicro propagation.
UNIT- II
In vitro haploid production Androgenic methods: Anther culture, Microspore culture Ando genesis. Significance and use of haploids, Ploidy level and chromosome doubling, diploidization, Gynogenic haploids, factors effecting gynogenesis, chromosome elimination techniques for production of haploids in cereals.
UNIT - III
Protoplast Isolation and fusion Methods of protoplast isolation, Protoplast development, Somatic hybridization, identification and selection of hybrid cells, Cybrids, Potential of somatic
Hybridization limitations. Soma clonal variation, Nomenclature, methods, applications basis and disadvantages
UNIT - IV

NTA has changed the CUET PG exam pattern for the academic session 2024-2025. The general section/ Pat A was removed and only domain-specific questions were asked in the examination. Candidates appearing for CUET PG 2025 exam can expect the same exam pattern for the coming exam.

The candidates who have passed the bachelor's degree/equivalent examination or appearing in 2025 irrespective of their age can appear in master’s degree programmes in the Central Universities through CUET (PG) 2025 examination. However, the candidates will be required to fulfil the age criteria of the University to which they are desirous of taking admission.

- Sikkim Profesional University: B.Sc. In Plant Biotechnology/B.Sc. In Biotechnology/B.Sc. Botany/ B.Sc. Bio Chemistary/ B.Sc. Micro Biology/B.Sc In Bio Informatics with minimum of 50% marks aggregate.
- RNB Global University, Bikaner: Graduate of any biological stream or a B.Sc.(Ag.)/B.Sc. (Hons) Ag.graduate with atleast 50% marks (45% for SC/ST)
