ICAR AIEEA 2025 application process will be started by the National Testing Agency (NTA) very soon. NTA will release the ICAR AIEEA UG 2025 exam dates soon but as per the previous year's trend, the exam date is tentative between April 26, 2025, to April 29, 2025. Go through educational qualifications and age limit criteria that form a part of the eligibility criteria for ICAR 2025.
ICAR AIEEA 2025 eligibility criteria specify whether a candidate is eligible to apply for undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Agriculture and allied Science courses. The application process for ICAR AIEEA 2025 has not been started by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The exam is going to be conducted in April 2025, tentatively. Candidates who wish to apply for the ICAR All India Entrance Examination (AIEE) need to meet the ICAR eligibility criteria as prescribed by NTA.

The ICAR AIEEA 2025 eligibility criteria vary for the UG and PG courses. This article on Shiksha.com brings to you detailed course-wise eligibility criteria for the ICAR AIEEA 2025 exam. Take a look at the criteria before filling out the ICAR AIEEA 2025 application form.
Students for 30 percent of seats in Master's degree programmes in AUs are admitted through AIEEA (PG). All (100 per cent) seats of the four ICAR-DUs namely, Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI) and the Central Institute of Fisheries Education (CIFE) and CAUs, viz. RLBCAU, Jhansi and Dr RPCAU, Pusa are also filled up through the same examination.
There is no provision for direct nomination for admission through ICAR in any Master’s degree programme without qualifying in the ICAR AIEEA (PG) examination.

ICAR AIEEA PG Eligibility Criteria 2025
Aspirants who are applying for the PG course in Agriculture and Applied Sciences must meet the prescribed ICAR AIEEA PG 2025 eligibility conditions below.

ICAR PG Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualifications for Different Subjects
Before appearing for the ICAR AIEEA PG exam, candidates should make sure they fulfil the ICAR AIEEA eligibility requirements for their preferred subject or field.
Applicants who want to fill the application form of ICAR AIEEA PG exam. The examination centres where the ICAR AIEEA PG-2024 exam will be conducted are given in Annexure- I hence applicants are advised to refer that before filling the form.
While applying, candidates have to select any four cities of their choice for AIEEA PG 2024 exam. The authorities will efforts to allot city of examination to the candidates in order of the choice opted by them in their application form. However, due to administrative reasons, a different city of nearby area may be allotted.
Candidates who will be declared eligible for registration and choice filling for counselling by ICAR will only be considered for allocation of subject and the Agricultural University. There is no provision for direct nomination for admission through ICAR in any Master's degree programme without qualifying in ICAR AIEEA (PG).
The in-service candidates will qualify for admission only if they come in the overall merit list of their concerned Subjects and produce the Sponsorship Certificate/Declaration by their employer for verification at the time of counselling.
The in-service candidates must be working in ICAR Institutes, ICAR-DUs, SAUs, CAUs, CUs having faculty of agriculture, Central Government/State Government Departments dealing in Agriculture and Allied Sectors and Public Sector Undertakings dealing with Agriculture and Allied Sectors.
The in-service candidates qualifying for admission will arrange for study leave/leave of the kind due from their respective organizations themselves and ICAR will not intervene in this regard.
In-service candidates must retain the computer generated hard copy of confirmation page of the application along with Sponsorship Certificate, in original, for showing to the university officials in the event of their qualifying the examination and recommendation for admission to the concerned university.
In no case, the computer-generated hard copy of confirmation page of the application and Sponsorship Certificate (Declaration by the employer)should be sent by the candidate either to NTA or ICAR.
The counselling of in-service candidates seeking admission on seats reserved for the purpose at ICAR-DUs (ICAR-IARI, ICAR-IVRI, ICAR-NDRI and ICAR-CIFE) will be done at respective ICARDU level only. Such candidates are, therefore, advised to remain in touch with the respective ICAR-DU’s website for further details such as no. ofseats, eligibility requirements, counselling schedule, etc.

The ICAR AIEEA PG Exam was conducted on July 3, 2025, for all the UG and PG candidates in online CBT mode. Only those students who have completed their registration process are eligible to appear for the ICAR Exam.
