Interested in pursuing a master's degree/MSc from IIT and NITs? Candidates need to appear in the IIT JAM 2027 examination to get admission to eight MSc degree programmes at IIT and NITs. JAM 2027 Eligibility Criteria
IIT JAM eligibility criteria 2027 tell candidates who can apply for the exam. Candidates should check eligibility criteria before filling out application form.
Candidates who have completed a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or college can apply for IIT JAM 2027. Candidates who are in the final year of their bachelor’s degree can also apply.
There is no age limit to appear for IIT JAM exam. Candidates must also meet the required marks criteria. General category candidates need at least 55% marks. SC, ST and PwD candidates need at least 50% marks. The marks requirement may also depend on the subject chosen by the candidate.

IIT JAM Eligibility Criteria 2027

General/OBC(NCL) - 55% marks
SC/ST/PwD - 50% marks

Yes, the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, accepts JAM for admission to Masters programme in Science. Candidates with a valid score in IIT JAM have to apply for admission through IISc Bangalore website.
