IIT JAM 2026: List of Colleges Accepting JAM Scores/Ranks for Admission

Colleges/Institutes Accepting JAM 2026 Scorecard

IIT JAM 2026 exam schedule for the academic session 2026-2027 has been released by the IIT Bombay, exam conducting body. The JAM 2026 exam was scheduled will held on February 15, 2026, at 100+ exam centres across the nation. IIT Bombay will be conducting the JAM 2026 exam to provide admissions to the MSc and Integrated PhD programmes offered by 21 IITs, NITs and other JAM 2026 score/result-sharing institutes. 

Interested candidates who wish to be admitted to the MSc courses offered in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Economics, Mathematical Statistics, and Biotechnology programmes must fill out the JAM 2026 application form, which started on September 5, 2025. Based on an aspirant's performance in IIT JAM 2026, he/ she can secure admission in post-graduate Science courses that are offered at prestigious universities such as the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), Indian Institute of Science (IISc), etc. Apart from this, through this exam candidates can secure admission in integrated PhD courses offered at IISc and IISERs.

JAM eligibility criteria 2026 is such that candidates need to clear their graduation with at least 55 percent aggregate marks in relevant subject areas. The test pattern of the IIT JAM exam is designed in such a way that aspirants need to attempt 60 questions in three hours duration. Earlier this national-level science entrance exam was conducted for six subjects. However, IIT-JAM 2026 exam is conducted in a total of seven test papers.

IIT JAM 2026: List of Result Sharing Institutes for PhD Course

Candidates who wish to apply for doctorate courses are informed that admissions will be directly based on their JAM 2026 scores. Aspirants who want to get admitted to the following programmes must qualify for JAM 2026 and apply separately to the institutes concerned.
