Last year, CUET PG Exam pattern was revised. As per the latest pattern, candidates will get 90 minutes to solve 75 MCQs instead of 105 minutes. The General paper syllabus of LLB and MBA courses will also be redesigned to cater to skill-based learning. This year, the CUET PG 2026 exam pattern has remained the same as last year.

The CUET PG 2026 syllabus for MCA has remained the same as last year. Last year, NTA added some new topics in the CUET PG MCA syllabus for the academic session 2025-2026. There are three major subjects in the CUET PG MCA syllabus, namely, Decision Making and Thinking Skills, Mathematics and Computers. The exam officials added a few more topics in the Computer subject.

The National Testing Agency released the CUET PG 2026 notification on December 14, 2025. However, there has not been any change in terms of exam pattern, syllabus or application process. The total number of exam cities has decreased.
For the CUET PG 2026 exam, candidates could fill out a maximum of four city preferences. Although initially, NTA announced the selection of two exam cities, as per a later notification, candidates could choose four exam cities in their present or permanent address.

CUET PG 2026 is a national-level entrance exam for candidates who wish to pursue their Masters degree from the central universities. From the past years, many other state, private, and deemed universities is participating in the CUET PG examination. Step 1: After adding the exam centre city preferences, candidates will then have to select the University/Programme selection.
Step 2: In this section, candidates are required to select the university name first and then select the programme name. Likewise, candidates can select up to four universities and its allied programmes offered. After adding the university programme choices, save the details and move on to the next sections.
Step 3: In this section, candidates need to add the test details. Add the test paper subject code from the drop-down options mentioned in the window. After adding all the respective test paper codes of the university programme list which was selected in the previous step, save the details.

As per the CUET PG marking scheme, four marks are awarded for each correct answer. For each wrong answer, one mark is deducted. There is no negative marking for unanswered questions.

CUET PG 2026 syllabus consists of subjects and topics covered at UG level. The syllabus has been framed by the examination conducting authority for the UG passout students to test their depth of knowledge in the particular domain in which they have taken the examination. CUET PG Question Paper Medium
Candidates can go through the information provided here for the CUET PG Question Paper Medium:
- Humanities, Sciences and Common papers would be bilingual, English and Hindi.
- Language papers will be in that particular language, except for Linguistics, which will be in English.
- The candidate can choose the General Paper as a Subject. The Comprehension part of these papers would be in English or Hindi, as chosen by the candidate during registration.
- Languages papers will be in the concerned language, except Linguistics, which will be in English.
- M.Tech/Higher Sciences question paper medium will be only English.
- Acharya Papers would be in Sanskrit except for Hindu Studies, Indian Knowledge System and Baudha Darshan.
- The English version of the questions in the question papers, except for languages and Acharya, will be taken as final.

The Role of NTA is confined to registration of candidates, conduct of the test, hosting of answer key, inviting challenges, finalising Answer Keys, preparing and declaring result and hosting Score Card. Merit list will be prepared by participating Universities/ organisations. Universities may conduct their individual counselling on the basis of the score card of CUET (PG)-2023 provided by NTA.
There is only one section A for CUET PG exam. Section B which comprises general awarenessa and knowledge has been removed as per exam pattern. Students need to prepare section A which is subject specific to get through. They should cover each and every topic of respective syllabus in order to get good score in exam.

CUET PG 2026 application form process has been concluded. Last date to submit application form was January 23, 2026. Correction window was active till January 30, 2026. Exam is scheduled to be held from March 6 till March 27, 2026 for various courses. No extension has been provided by NTA.

NTA has reduced number of centres from 312 to 292 in CUET PG 2026. In addition, students can choose 4 city choices. Earlier they were provided only 2 options. This time, students will have to answer only A section which is domain specific.

Registration fee for CUET PG 2026 varies for each category. For General students, registration fee is INR 1400 while for OBC, fee is 1200. SC/ST category students ahve to pay INR 1100 as application fee. This fee is for choosing maximum two test papers.
