IIT JAM registrations were closed on October 20, 2025. The application fee could be paid till October 25, 2025.
Download IIT JAM Admit Card
IIT JAM admit card 2026 has been released. Students had to download IIT JAM 2026 admit card from the official website. The last date for downloading IIT JAM Hall Ticket 2026 is before the commencement of the examination. After downloading the admit card, candidates will have to take a print of it and carry it to the allotted exam center, along with a valid ID proof (original). Without an admit card and ID proof, candidates are forbidden to appear for IIT JAM 2026 exam.

Verify IIT JAM Result
IIT Bombay will announce IIT JAM 2026 results on March 20, 2026. Students can check the result of IIT JAM 2026 to know their All India Rank (AIR), marks obtained, and category wise cutoff mark. The authority will also release the list of IIT JAM toppers for all test papers. Students whose marks are above the cutoff marks will be eligible for admission to the MSc programs at IITs and integrated PhD programs at IISc.
Complete the Admission Form for IIT JAM Counselling
A qualifying candidate will need to fill out an admission form found on the official website. Regardless of whether a candidate qualifies for one or two test papers, they will only need to fill out and submit one admission form. After filling the admission form, candidates will need to pay INR 750 in the online mode via JOAPS for a processing fee. Qualifying candidates will be eligible to apply for the admission process.

Check Admission List
Upon submitting the admission form and processing fee, the admission lists will be published on the JAM 2026 official website. After the admission list has been announced, offer letters will be provided by the admitting college/ institute(s) to candidates. After a candidate has received the offer letter, the candidate needs to fill out the acceptance form along with a fee in advance for booking a seat in online mode via JOAPS.
