AKTU BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2026
Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University BTech is offered across multiple specialisations. These are offered through the affiliated colleges as well. The BTech specialisations offered by the university are Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, etc. Selection for AKTU BTech course admission is based on JEE (Main) and CUET-UG (for some specialisations). AKTU is a state-level, public collegiate university. Formerly known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), it is a University of National Importance, specially for the UG and PG courses offered in the field of Engineering and Science. AKTU is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Coming to the AKTU placements, the university has not released the placement report for the year 2023. However, as per media reports, 1,531 students were selected in TCS. AKTU BTech Admission Dates 2026
AKTU admission to the BTech course is based on the entrance exam score. The university and its affiliated colleges accept admission through various entrance exams. DR. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University is expected to conduct a total of six rounds for CUET-UG-qualified candidates. However, the cutoff rounds are conducted as per seat availability.
