AKTU MBA Eligibility & Highlights 2026
MBA at Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University is a two-year course offered in a full-time mode. The total course duration is divided into four semesters. AKTU offers MBA across different specialisations through the colleges/ institutes affiliated to it. There are more than 70 such colleges. A few of the AKTU colleges offering an MBA are NIET, Lloyd Business School, etc. AKTU MBA specialisations are Marketing, Finance, Business Analytics, etc.
AKTU MBA admission is done based on merit in CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ ATMA, etc. Additionally, candidates may have to take part in the group discussion and personal interview rounds as well. The seat allotment can further be done through UPTAC counselling. However, the eligibility and selection criteria can vary from college to college and hence, is indicative.

Yes, candidates seeking admission to DR. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University undergraduate and postgraduate courses must have appeared for the CUET-UG and CUET-PG entrance exams, respectively. AKTU will not admit students who do not a valid CUET score. NTA usually releases CUET result in July. CUET UG Counselling is held and conducted separately by the participating institutes. DR. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University is expected to conduct a total of six rounds for CUET-UG-qualified candidates. However, the cutoff rounds are conducted as per seat availability. If seats are available after AKTU round six of the counselling process, the University will release the special round to fulfil their vacant seats.

AKTU MBA admission process is a multi-step process. Admission to the MBA programme offered at the university is based on CUET PG, followed by UPTAC Counselling.
