BHU offers entrance-based admissions to all its UG and PG courses. To get admission to any UG and PG courses, it is compulsory to appear for the CUET-UG/ CUET-PG entrance exams. Further, the university also accepts other entrance exam such as NEET, GATE, CAT, etc. for admission to specific courses. Hence, candidates are required to appear for the accepted entrance-exam and also meet the course-specific eligibility for admission at BHU.

BHU offers a two-year full-time MSc course via its IIT BHU college. The institute accepts the IIT JAM entrance exam scores, followed by its counselling rounds for admission. During the last round, the IIT BHU JAM cutoff 2025 varied between 325 and 409 for the students belonging to the General AI quota. Yes, Banaras Hindu University is usually open for all to visit. As per the information collated from web, non-BHU students can also visit and explore the campus. However, some of the areas such as library might be restricted for students. 

Hostels are only available for students pursuing a course from the university. BHU provides a hostel to 50% of students via entrance results.

BHU 2026 BSc Nursing admission is based on CUET UG scores. The BHU merit list for CUET UG will be released on the official website of BHU. According to the BHU, there will be three rounds of counselling along with an optional fourth round, if the seats remain vacant. Talking about the BHU maximum cutoff score of the previous year, B.Sc. BHU accepts NEET UG scores for admisison to the MBBS, BDS and BSc in Nursing courses. As per the NEET UG Round 2 cutoff 2024, the closing rank for the MBBS course was 1014 for the students belonging to the General AI category students. For the BDS and BSc in Nursing courses, the NEET UG closing ranks were 26356 and 46830. BHU CUET PG cutoff 2025 was announced for admission for multiple specialisations, like MA, MSc, LLM, MBA, etc. According to the BHU CUET PG cutoff 2025, the overall closing score in the General category stood between 5 and 650. In the last round, the toughest and the easiest courses among all the courses were MPA in Dance (Kathak) and MA in Persian due to high and low scores, respectively.

Candidates must register and appear for the CUET entrance exam to apply for BHU BCom admissions. Candidates will also need to pay the BHU BCom application fee of INR 650 (General/ OBC Category)/ INR 550 (SC/ST Category). The steps mentioned-below show how to apply for the BHU BCom courses:

Yes, candidates seeking admission to BCom (Hons) courses need to appear for the CUET-UG entrance test. Based on the entrance test scores, BHU will conduct a counselling round. BHU is currently accepting applications for BHU BCom (Hons) admission 2023, interested candidates must visit the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) to apply for the CUET-UG entrance exam.
