Affordable education, necessary things, and the reputation of the university.
Placements: Last year, many students from Statistics, Computer Science and Chemistry got placements in various companies. The average package is around 6 LPA to 8 LPA. Students from psychology also got placements, but for Physics and Mathematics students the placement rate is below average.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are good. Wi-Fi is also there, which has good signal. Rooms are average, but the food in the hostel is also good. They provide food at a minimal affordable amount and the labs in the department are also good. They also provide washing machines for washing clothes and other sports equipment to help students stay physically fit.
Faculty: The teachers are cooperative and understand the feelings of the students, and the exams are also conducted efficiently. This university has adopted the New Education Policy 2020. Indus University has many faculty members. There are arts, commerce, and marine students who clear UPSC CSE, IIT JAM and move to IIT for higher studies, and many students has moved abroad for higher studies also.
Other: The environment of the university is very good. The heart and city are amazing in the university campus. Although the campus is open, you still get a lot of privacy yet many of my friends' cycles, bikes, and laptops got stolen.

Value for money, moderate placement chances, and good environment.
Placements: Being a student of Chemistry major, I must say the placement cell for Chemistry students is decent. Last year, 5-8 students got placed with a 5 LPA-8 LPA package. Most of the students refer to higher studies only. But for Physics and Maths, it is almost negligible. Only for CS, Chemistry, and some statistics students from the faculty of Science got placed
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the Chemistry lab is nearly good, though most of the equipment is old. Professors also help in lab classes. The lab room has around 110-120 students' capacity. Classrooms are also large and well-maintained and have digital boards in most of the rooms. Wi-Fi facility is available in classrooms and hostels.
Faculty: Faculty members are also very good. They generally help the students and give marks too. Most students from BHU in the Chemistry department got selected in the IIT JAM exam. Two of my known seniors went to IISc Bangalore and IIT Guwahati. The syllabus is also IIT JAM, CSIR, NET, and GATE oriented. The syllabus is also good for those who want their career in industry.
Other: The campus is very good and green. Though it has one problem that it is an open campus. People from outside can come here any time. Overall it is very good.

Value for money and great environment.
Placements: The chances of getting a placement in BHU if you are a Physics or Mathematics student are very low. You will have chances if you have completed a Master's. Also, B.Sc. students get it if you choose courses like statistics, CS or psychology. MBA students also get placement. Here you have great chances to pursue your graduation along with a part-time job as a teacher or mentor in various coaching institutes.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good, at a moderate to high level. The equipment in the laboratory is digitalised, and the lab is well developed. The classroom is also large and has digital boards. Wi-Fi facility is available in most parts of the university except the road.
Faculty: The faculty members are good enough. They help you if you reach out to them from your side. Also, they have high connections to many prestigious institutes, including India as well as foreign universities. The syllabus is the same as the syllabus for exams like IIT JAM, NET, GATE, etc.
Other: The environment is very good. The VT temple in front of the hostels and also the ghats of the Ganga River are amazing. The environment is also green on the campus, but you can't expect it outside the campus.

It is a good start for academic life.
Placements: Palaeography, numismatics, archaeology careers, or teaching professions are mostly encouraged here. It focuses on research and academics rather than providing direct job opportunities after graduation. There are many career options to follow, but they are not quick to achieve. You need to complete graduation, then a master’s degree. Then clear UGC NET to become an assistant professor or pursue a PhD. You can also apply for positions such as assistant archaeologist, and the process continues.
Infrastructure: All facilities are enough for a student to build their career in their domain. One should know how to utilize these facilities and services. It feels like a blessing for students from a lower-middle-class background. It may get access to resources that others may have had earlier. Facilities like Wi-Fi, electricity, maintenance, library, and AC are available at minimal or no extra cost. Apart from academics, the sports culture is also strong, and the directors are friendly and supportive.
Faculty: The curriculum is good. Teachers are better compared to government universities. Some professors are not very active and sometimes need reminders for classes or mark updates, but many others are friendly, professional, and provide good teaching content.
Other: It is one of the most affordable university.

The college is cost-effective and has a good environment and infrastructure.
Placements: In BHU, there is a chance of placement, but it is not for Physics students. Students get placements after completing a B.Sc. in Statistics, CS, and Chemistry. Last year, the highest was approximately 8 LPA for Statistics students
Infrastructure: The Physics department lab is good in my view. Labs are high-tech. Some are not well-equipped, but overall, it is good. The environment is also good. But students should not expect professors to help in the lab. They need to do it themselves using YouTube videos or practical books. Wi-Fi is available in every building of the university (not on roads). Each classroom contains 65–75 students, though its capacity is more than 100 students. Classrooms are well developed.
Faculty: It is obvious that not all professors are always good, but for me, professors in the 1st and 2nd semester were overall good. They help if students ask doubts. They generally do not solve numericals because usually no numericals come in exams. The course curriculum is based on IIT JAM, CUET PG, etc., which is one of the good aspects.
Other: For Physics students, many events are organized based on astronomy, nuclear physics, quantum physics, etc.

Great faculty members and excellent lab facilities with great exposure and an outstanding campus lif
Placements: After B.Sc. Hons in Chemistry, there is a very minor rate of direct placement. You have to complete at least an M.Sc. degree to get a placement in a chemistry-oriented company. Internship rate is often good. Students get multiple opportunities for internships in IITs and other renowned labs.
Infrastructure: Lab facilities are good and better than those of other central universities. Hostel rooms are well and good. The green campus of BHU gives a very good experience of living. All hostel rooms have Wi-Fi connections, and some hostels have a sports area and a sports ground. Food quality is quite unsatisfactory.
Faculty: Faculty members are top-class. Each faculty has its own achievements at national and international levels. Quality of education is excellent, and each faculty take class regularly. Semester exams are moderately difficult, just follow the class notes. Teachers are very supportive.
Other: If you have a good interest in Chemistry and want to build a career in Chemistry, BHU is the best place to be. Campus life is amazing. You will enjoy the course.
