BHU 2026 BSc Nursing admission is based on CUET UG scores. The BHU merit list for CUET UG will be released on the official website of BHU. According to the BHU, there will be three rounds of counselling along with an optional fourth round, if the seats remain vacant. Talking about the BHU maximum cutoff score of the previous year, B.Sc. (Hons) in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology became the most competitive course with a cutoff score of 628.46 for the students belonging to the General quota. 

Candidates seeking admission to MCA course at the Banaras Hindu University must have passed bachelor’s degree in any stream with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Candidates must also have Mathematics as one of the subjects in either Class 12 or at the UG level. Besides, aspirants are also required to have a valid CUET-PG score for BHU MCA admission 2025. The final selection is based on CUET-PG counselling.

Banaras Hindu University fee structure is the sum of multiple components. BHU MSc tuition fee amount ranges from INR 6,700 to INR 1.7 lakh. Banaras Hindu University accepts CAT and CUET-PG scores for admission to its MBA programmes. For the MBA (IB) and MBA courses, aspirants should have a valid score of CAT. Shortlisted candidates are further called for the group discussion and personal interview round. The selection rounds along with the assigned weightage are mentioned below:

• Academic record: 20% weightage
• GDPI (conducted by FMS, BHU): 30% weightage

The seat intake for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme at the Institute of Management Studies (IMS), Banaras Hindu University (BHU) varies based on the specialization. Here are the details:

1. MBA (IB) - International Business:

   • Total Intake: 46 seats
   • International Students Intake: 15% seats of the regular approved intake

2. MBA (Risk & Insurance):

   • Total Intake: 40 seats

3. MBA (Foreign Trade):

   • Total Intake: 40 seats

4. MBA (Financial Management):

   • Total Intake: 59 seats

These numbers represent the total number of seats available for each specialisation within the MBA programme at IMS BHU. Institute of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University has good placement records.

In Institute of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University, during 2023 placements,  the highest and average package offered to MBA and MBA-International Business were INR 38 LPA and  INR 11.30 LPA. Also, the highest and average pacakge offered tp MBA -Agribusiness were INR 15 LPA and INR 7.19 LPA respectively.

In the 2022-23 placement drive, 90 MBA & MBA-IB students and 36 MBA AB students got placed, and the average placement offered by the college was 8.4 lacs, with the highest placement offered being 16 lacs.  The institute partners with over 100 companies for recruitment and the top recruiting companies include Navi, Piramal, Microsoft, and Uber.

As per BHU NIRF report 2023, the median package offered to UG (5-Year) course was INR 15 LPA. Moreover, as per media reports, the overall the highest and average package offered during 2023 placements stood at INR 1.2 crore per annum and INR 23.13 LPA, respectively. Many reputed companies participate in the BHU placements drive. Moreover, as per the IMS BHU NIRF report 2021, the median package offered to MBBS students was INR 14 LPA in 2020 placements. There are total 893 seats for Ph.D in BHU ( total including IMS Management Ph.D)

Admission is through Research Entrance Test (Ret) 2021 And Direct Admission (RET- Exempted) ( NET /JRF qualified candidates are exempted from RET).

(a) Qualifying Examination: Master’s degree in Business Management (M.B.M.), Management Studies/ Management Sciences (M.M.S.), Business Administration (M.B.A.), International Business Administration (M.I.B.A.), International Business (M.I.B.), M.B.A. (Agri-Business) or two year PGP/PGDM declared equivalent to Master’s Degree in Management by AIU/accredited by AICTE/UGC or First class graduate and professionally qualified Chartered Accountant/Cost and Works Accountant/Company Secretary of the concerned statutory bodies.

(b) Qualifying Marks: At least 60% in the aggregate or equivalent grade point average in the qualifying examination.

Banaras Hindu University offers a four-year full-time BTech course at the undergraduate level. Candidates seeking admission to BHU BTech course must have passed Class 12 or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology (PCMB) with English with a minimum 50% aggregate. Apart from the eligibility criteria mentioned here, candidates are also required to appear for the CUET-UG entrance exam to be eligible for BHU BTech admission 2023. 

BHU offers a five-year MBBS course through the Institute of Medical Sciences. Admission to the medical course is based on merit in the NEET-UG exam followed by the counselling round conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). During form filling, students need to submit their NEET-UG score along with the All India Rank and other details. Candidates can visit the BHU website (bhu.ac.in) to apply for the course. Moreover, eligible students must register on the MCC portal for counselling.

For MBBS in BHU, students shall have secured at least 50 percentile if belonging to the General category, 45 for physically handicapped General candidates, and 40 for the SC/ST/OBC category students. It must be noted that the mentioned information is for reference purposes, candidates shall score at least this much to take admission. The registration portal for BHU MCA admission was opened from Jun 27 to Jul 16. This portal is opened again for 5 days after the CUET-PG result declaration. NTA announced CUET PG 2023 result on Jul 20. Hence, the portal will open again soon. The university has announced any date for the same as of now. Candidates are advised to frequently check the BHU official website to stay updates regarding the events and dates.
