A golden gate for the development of students at Chandigarh University.
Placements: Placements in our college are very good. 79% of students got placed. The highest package is of 77 LPA, and the average package is of 8 LPA-10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Tata, Google, and many more. Top roles offered are manager, assistant manager, and others.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available are good. Classrooms are well-made and maintained for our course module. There are computers, Wi-Fi, and a library where all books are available in the hostel. Other facilities are good, and the food quality is also good. Medical facilities are available, and sports and games equipment is very nice.
Faculty: Faculty are highly educated professionals, they are very knowledgeable and provide help to understand every concept. Our course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. The semester exams in this college are difficult, and the pass percentage is 92%.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in Computer Electronics, and already dedicated to it. The things I wish would be better/improved about my course are to be more practical and have fewer tasks allotted. Scholarship is available for ST, SC, and OBC students. Events are organized very well, and connectivity is excellent. The campus surroundings have a friendly environment.

Top recruiting companies for our course are Amazon, Boast, Samridhi Private Limited, etc. 55% of students got internships in the above-mentioned companies. Top roles offered are data analyst and machine learning.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of college is well-structured and developed. The whole campus is covered with Wi-Fi. Classrooms have smart boards. Labs are updated with the latest technology computers. It also has Apple Lab. The food available in mess and canteen is freshly prepared and delivered in well-packed containers. The campus also has medical facilities. It organises annual sports meet.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The campus provides good teaching facilities. The college curriculum conducts sessional and semester exams. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students ready for industry work. Semester exams are not very difficult. The pass criteria are to score 40% in each subject.
Other: I chose this course because I want to develop my financial skills and communication skills. The best thing about this course is that it encourages us to explore the unexplored things. The campus organises fests and extracurricular activities. The campus also provides scholarships based on student marks.

My honest review about my college.
Placements: We have placements but not upto the mark we like to compete with the B.Tech guys. They tend to be the real competition and sometimes companies won't even consider the MCA students. We have seen a lot of drop down in placement from 2015 onwards so there is nothing much left with MCA placement. College does not provide any internships, it is upto us if we can get to have some good internships that provide us with the real scenario of industry and working.
Infrastructure: Net is very old and obsolete. They will tell you that we teach up to date technology and will guarantee the placement also but they will never tell you that the companies. I was in hostel. The hostels are very expensive and they provide sub-standard quality of food. Also, there are four students in each room.
Faculty: We have good teachers with good experience but they are somewhat nuts when it comes to assignments. Some teachers are way too crazy when it comes to presentations. They are quite interactive and actively help students to gain the skill set required in the outside world. They even do live sessions like teaching with a projector and other presentations to give a wide sense of knowledge. The curriculum is quite easy and not at all hectic but the assignments can be a difficult task to do when teachers become rigid to get their assignments done on time. MCA is a very good course but the syllabus should be updated by the time. But they are still teaching syllabus which is 5 years old and not useful at all. They are still teaching computer languages like VB.

Campus journey in Chandigarh University.
Placements: Many campus placements are offered here. Many companies visit here so you can easily crack your placements. Many companies have visited here recently like TCS, Cognizant, Josh Technology, Swiggy, etc. According to your need you will crack college campus placements.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure is there under one umbrella. You have the whole world top to bottom like stationary, gym facilities, sports facilities, and many other things. In hostel, food quality is too good also. One interesting thing is that faculty members also eat the same hostel food so don't worry related to food. All classrooms are well maintained. All facilities are there with AC projector, smart board, and projector so don't need to worry.
Faculty: All faculty members are very professional and supportive inside and outside the college. They always encourage us. Also not too much difficult to pass the semester exam.
Other: I chose MCA because of my background and I am interested in software development.

Really good infrastructure is there.
Placements: Placements are offered to all the students who are registered for the TPP course worth 11,000 rupees, and about 120 unique companies come only for MCA students. Accenture, IBM, etc. are the top recruiters. Average package is around 6 LPA. Top roles are junior developer, data analyst, ccd engineer, devops, ML engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: All the classes now have air conditioning, and there are two blocks for computing in which many courses like BCA, AR VR, B.Sc., CS BCA, Data Science, MCA, AIML, MCA, ccd and devops are running. 2 boys hostels are present, which are just 50 m from acedamic block. And girls hotels are on main campus, which is 2 km away and university provide free buses for the girls hostels residence who are enrolled in Computing. Food is good and rooms and washrooms are cleaned daily.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members are very knowledgeable, some are average but all are doing well for the students as per new technologies. All are well qualified and many of them are Ph.D. holders. There are 3 exams in a semester: MST 1, MST 2, and end term, and also 2 lab exams: lab mst and final lab exam. Exam difficulty is moderate to high.
Other: I chose this course as I am not getting that much opportunity after B.Sc. CS and to get a hike in salary, I enrolled in this program. CU organizes almost 2-3 fests every month and every festival is celebrated there. Sufi nights, tech fest, freshers and many others where many big celebrities, actors and singers come for the performance and promotions also.

I am satisfied with the curriculum of the university and got the opportunity to learn many things.
Placements: The placement record of Chandigarh University is not that good or that bad. It is not good because they allow as many students as possible and don't have a limit for students in any course; that's why not everyone gets placed. So it is not certain that everybody will get placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi, classrooms, and the library are available where you can study. The overall infrastructure is good, and the campus is also well maintained by the maintenance staff. Good facilities for water are provided in each block.
Faculty: The curriculum is good, but it is very broad and unable to cover everything in depth during one semester. In one semester, you have to submit ten assignments for one subject, so you don't get proper time to study, and even faculty members are also busy assigning marks for the assignments.
