    A:

Delhi University admission 2026 is open now. The last date to apply for DU PG courses is Jun 7, 2026. For the UG courses, students have to apply through CSAS counselling after CUET results are declared. The last date is tentatively scheduled for July 2026.

Q:   How to prepare for DU placements?
    2thumbs up
    A:

To prepare for the DU placements students should focus on the aptitude. Practicing quant and LRDI. Update the resume and keep it concise. Be confident and have technical domain knowledge. Stay updated with major news updates and industry updates.

Q:   Do I need 60% in Class 12 to get admission in DU?
    A:

DU is considered one of the most competitive universities in India for Commerce, Science and Arts education at the undergraduate level. The university and its affiliated colleges was attracting the cream layer of crowd till the time admission was subject to Class 12 scores. While reserved category candidates still had minor chances of getting into a not-so-popular course of DU with 60% in Class 12, a General category student with 60% had no chance of getting into any good college or course at DU.

However, starting 2022, DU admission process has shifted to CUET-UG based admission process. Those with a valid score in CUET UG exam who have passed their Class 12 are eligible to take admission now. While the chances of getting into a good DU college are still low at this score, the chances of getting a seat have increased now (provided you score extremely well in CUET UG).

M.A. Political Science in Daulat Ram College.
Placements: College does not provide placements for master’s students. However, students do get placed through external opportunities. They apply for various political and policy internships and fellowships, after which they even get placed in political consultancies like IPAC, Showtime, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Daulat Ram is quite average. It is old and not very well-maintained. In recent years, renovations and new classrooms have been introduced. I was not allotted a hostel, so I cannot share personal experience, but from what I have heard, the hostel is decent, although the infrastructure is also old.
Faculty: Professors are highly qualified. The curriculum includes various branches of Political Science, such as Political Theory, International Relations, Public Administration, Comparative Politics, and Security Studies, which are relevant. Exams are not very tough if one studies well and follows the readings thoroughly. The pass percentage is 33%.
Other: I chose Political Science for my bachelor’s due to my interest in politics, and continued it in my master’s as well. It provides a wide understanding of domestic and international politics.

Placements: There are not so many placements. However, there are placements for good students. It is a good place to get a job, and there is a placement cell. There is a 50 percent chance of getting a placement.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good. The hostel is not available. It is in a safe area. The environment is good, and there is good maintenance. There is a good canteen where we get good and affordable food.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. They explain everything and tell us about the course and what we have to do. They focus on every student. There are different teachers for everything, and everyone is good.

Review of Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi.
Placements: For all the batches, the rate of succession in the placement is 60-68 percent. The active positions, like editing, journals, other content strategies, and digital marketing, are looking into recruiting students from the M.A. in English literature with a good package. The top package offered is 8.9 LPA if students are really potential in the M.A. in English course.
Faculty: Professors calmly deal with everything in their left and right hands. They have a supreme power of commanding and expecting. They provide special training, like communication and interpersonal skills, every single day to enhance our soft skills and personal skills. It's a college for women's education that has shown women's empowerment and strength.

    Best place to explore yourself.
Placements: Subjects like history, political science, geography, etc., don't have any placement scope in DU and it's just an eligibility for competitive exams. That's all. The knowledge and depth you will find here in the subjects are really impressive and more than enough.
Infrastructure: No doubt the infrastructure and other facilities of DU North campus are fantastic. The labs, classrooms, libraries, etc., are totally good may differ from college to college but overall good. One thing that is a little bit bad is that the Jio SIM network is weak in the North Campus.
Faculty: Most teachers are knowledgeable enough but many are boring too. One bad thing about teaching is that classes have a period of 2 hours and 2 to 3 classes simultaneously. The course is relevant and adheres to the competition exam syllabus too. The passing percentage is 33 percent.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in Political Science and international relations. It helps us to connect world affairs with our subject. It should be more practical rather than a 6 to 8-hour lecture only. Events and fests are okay in DU but the campus crowd is fantastic. I have many foreign friends too. The scholarship process is a little bit slow and not good.

    Great college and placements.
Placements: Almost 70-80 percent of students got placed in roles of consulting, data analyst, data science, marketing, etc. Average package remains around 17 LPA and the highest can go upto 50 LPA. Amex, Accenture, EY, Delloite, Zomato, and EXL are among the top recruiters.
Infrastructure: The classrooms and labs are equipped with fast Wi-Fi, fully functioning AC, and good infrastructure. The quality of canteen food is okayish and not that great. There aren't many facilities available for sports and games. Although students can form informal cricket teams and organize their games.
Faculty: The quality of teaching depends on the subject. Some teachers are really great and helpful not only about their course but also outside the course as well. While some just want us to cram the books and regurgitate them on the exam. What really matters is the subject and course that a student finds interesting and can do on their own.

The best placement and infrastructure are present in our university.
Placements: Most of the students of our university got job offers from this department. The highest package goes to Rs. 50,000 per month, and the average was Rs. 30,000. Top role offered were health psychologist, developmental psychologist, clinical psychologist, and counselling psychologist. So in my opinion, this was one of the best course in our university which grow your future.
Infrastructure: We had a beautiful infrastructure in our college. The campus was mostly green. Classrooms were properly decorated. We had a huge library where all types of books were available. The library was open for 24 hours. Our mess food quality was average, canteen was not very clean.
Faculty: All teachers were well qualified. Most of them were understanding and very kind to students. They always solved student problems. Student teachers' bond in our university was so strong. Their teaching method was too good, all students easily understood every lecture.
