HNBGU Uttarakhand BTech admission criteria is entrance-based. The university prepares a merit list based on applicants' CUET scores. Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University (HNBGU) offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) fields such as Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, etc. It has three campuses in total- Chauras Campus, Srinagar, BGR Campus, Pauri Garhwal and SRT Campus, Tehri Garhwal. HNBGU provides more than 700 undergraduate, graduate, certificate, and doctorate courses in 16 streams, 11 schools, 47 departments, and 2 centres (Agriculture and Allied Sciences, Commerce, Earth Science, Arts, Communication and Languages, and Law).

The median package provided during the HNBGU UG 4-year and PG 2-year placements in 2022 was INR 2.90 LPA and INR 5.20 LPA, respectively, according to the HNBGU overall NIRF report for 2023.
