- The JEE Main registration 2026 is now open for IIT Delhi admission to BTech, BArch, and BPlan courses. The registration deadline for session 1 is Nov 27, 2025, and the exam will tentatively be conducted between Jan 21 and Jan 30, 2026.
- The UCEED 2026 registration has closed for IIT Delhi admission to the B.Des course, and the exam will be conducted on Jan 18, 2026.
- The IIT JAM 2026 application correction window is now open till Nov 13, 2025, for admission to the MSc course. The IIT JAM 2026 exam is scheduled for Feb 15, 2026.

Yes, IIT Delhi accepts GATE/CEED/UGC/CSIR/DBT/ICMR entrance exam scores for admission to different specialisations offered under the IIT Delhi PhD programme. Candidates shortlisted based on the exam score can be called for an interview round by some of the departments. The accepted exam can vary depending upon the chosen PhD specialisation.
IIT Delhi OBC cutoff 2025 for JEE Advanced is yet to be released. However, during the last round cutoff in 2024, the JEE Advanced closing ranks for BTech admission varied between 89 and 3185 in the All India quota. In the first round, the cutoff ranks were more competitive for admission compared to the final round. Therefore, based on last year's cutoff ranks, a JEE Advanced rank of 7000 does not allow for admission at IIT Delhi for any BTech or Integrated BTech courses for students belonging to the OBC AI category.
The Department of Management Studies (DMS), IIT Delhi, also known as DMS IIT Delhi offers a two-year MBA course at undergraduate courses in a full-time mode. IIT Delhi is a decent option to pursue an MBA degree. IIT Delhi ranked 4 by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in the Management category IN 2024. The total course fee is a cumulative of multiple components such as tuition fee, medical fees, transport fees, etc. IIT Delhi PhD tuition fee for full-time course is INR 7,500 per semester. In addition, PhD (part-time/sponsored) programmes is INR 17,500. The hostel fee for PhD candidates is INR 13,250. Some other fee such as students distress fund scheme (each semester) of INR 400 and insurance scheme (yearly) fee of INR 500 may also be added in the fee. Candidates applying to a MSc course in IIT Delhi must fulfil the required eligibility criteria. Thus, aspirant must hold a valid bachelor's degree in a relevant stream for at least two years (four semesters) and a minimum aggregate between 55% and 80% or 5.5 CGPA out of 10.

No, admission to the IIT Delhi courses is entrance-based, except for PG Diploma course. There is no provision for direct admission. However, for IIT Delhi MTech admission, the institute offers direct admission to candidates with an overall CGPA of 8.00 out of 10. No, IIT Delhi has separate hostels for Boys and Girls. There are no co-ed hostels. The institute has no tolerance policy for the same. Boys can only visit the girls' hostel visitor’s room and vice-versa. On house days, the institute may allow students to visit other hostels.
For 2022, cut off was 4316 for General category candidates in All India quota for B.Tech. in Civil Engineering in IIT Delhi - Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. JEE Main counselling schedule is released by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority after the declaration of the JEE Main result. Admission to IIT Delhi BTech courses is subject to fulfiment of the eligibility requirements for JEE Main and JEE Advanced. The students who have passed Class 12 in Science stream with at least 75% aggregate (65% aggregate for SC/ST/PwD) are eligible to apply.
