The placements are perfect for the CSE department and okay for the electrical, mechanical department and similar in all the other colleges of Bangalore.

Placements in the college for CS and EC are good compared to other colleges, but the placements for ME and other branches are just okay.

The college has good infrastructure, but education is not up to the mark.
Placements: Not many core companies come for hiring mechanical engineering students. IT companies do take mechanical engineering students for training and apprenticeship but not for core jobs. The teaching effectiveness that I went through in the past 4 years is good with lecturers with PhDs.
Infrastructure: The boys' hostel has 3 different mess facilities, and the students have to stand in a queue to get the most desirable mess. The students who do not stand in the queue will, by default, get the poor quality mess which is unfair for students, as they are paying the same fees for food and accommodation.
Faculty: The curriculum is relevant but not up to the current market of engineering companies. The mechanical design software taught in the university is kind of outdated and not used in any industries as of now. Teachers do possess personal revenge on students and affect their grades, being honest.

Good infrastructure and excellent teaching.
Placements: More than 80% students are placed in our campus and the rest opt for higher studies in the same line of study or different. The highest package a student for PESU has received is 1.5 crores pa. The lowest doesn't go below 4 lpa. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Google, Infosys etc. Many students get to do internship as a part of curriculum in the 4th year.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi in the college campus offers a high-speed connection with access to only limited applications so it's not misused. It is mandatory to sign in to get access to Wi-Fi. Labs are well-equipped with the required software and hardware machines. Library has a variety of books to go read and also there is a lending library. The hostel is good. They clean it almost everyday. The food is slightly dull and the Wi-Fi is a bit slow. There are medical facilities available as a small clinic with a doctor. There is a two floor indoor gym.
Faculty: The teachers are very qualified and they have an immense knowledge in the course they teach. Many of the lectures have done Ph.D. in the courses. The teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant to the real world scenario and it helps the students get industry ready. The semester exams vary from easy to medium to highly difficult in a single paper. Mostly difficult.
Other: There are a lot of clubs in the campus. Everything will be explained in the orientation before the admission process. I highly recommend you attend to get a clear cut idea.

Yes, PES University has lateral entry seats. You have to appear in KDCET and try to score well to get good branches in PES University.

I don't think so because you are hiring on the basis of your B.Tech degree, not on SSLC.

KCET is only for the Karnataka students and PESSAT is for all other students. Even Karnataka students can sit for PESSAT. The last date for applying for PESSAT was April 10, 2018. More details: https://admissionblock.com/

Sorry Bharath, But the seat requirements of PESIT BSC have just jumped of the roof and will probably close by 8000 at most, additionally there have reduced seats to only 120 students. If you are willingly, taking ME then I'll suggest go for NIE Mysore, It might not have its charm as 90s but it's sti

Your rank should be under 3500 to get admission in Mech via PESSAT. If your rank is a little further than that, you can wait for the second round and try your luck :).
