Review of SASTRA (Deemed to be University).

Placements: There are about 65% of the students who got placed in our course. The highest package offered was about 8 Lacs per annum, and the lowest package was about 3 Lacs per annum. TCS, CTS, and Wipro are the top recruiters. IT professional roles are offered. About 5% of the students got internships.

Infrastructure: The faculty members are well-versed in the subject, and most have done PhD in some courses, which in turn enhances their knowledge in the subject. The infrastructure is not bad. The classrooms are clean and neat, and the library is great. Labs are available for every department, and Wi-Fi facilities are available throughout the campus. The food served is not that great. Canteen facilities are also good.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is not much relevant because most of the concepts in the syllabus are not going to help a student much after graduation unless he/she plans to take up higher education. We all are taught only to clear the exams.

Other: This course was suggested by my father. The standard of the syllabus can be improved. The college conducts events sometimes, and only those who effectively participate in it are aware of it.
