SRM University Chennai offers Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) courses at the UG level in the Medical stream through NEET UG scores followed by round-wise NEET Counselling. As per SRM University Chennai cutoff 2024, the last-round closing rank was 195886 for admission to the MBBS course. The Round 1 closing rank for the same stood at 637582 for the students belonging to the General AI quota. 

For BDS admission, the NEET UG first and last-round closing ranks were 980273 and 980273, respectively. 

The programme you select, your housing situation, and other variables will determine the overall cost of attending the SRM Institute of Hotel Management (SRM IHM). That being said, you should budget between 1.8 and 2.7 Lakh annually. The fee for B.Sc Hotel Management will be around 2.5 Lakh per year. B.Sc in Culinary Science will be around 2.3 lakhs. B.Sc in Hospitality Studies will be around 2 Lakh per year.

A development fee will be charged as a one-time fee that is used to support the development of the institute's infrastructure and facilities. SRM University conducts SRM JEE exam for admission to Engineering courses. The university does not accept scores for any other entrance exams. Also, direct admission is not valid either. Candidates are shortlisted for BTech and M.Tech based on their past academic records and scores obtained in the entrance exam. 

To sit for the respective exams, candidates must apply for the exams priorly and make a preparation strategy to ace the exam. 

The university fee structure is cumulative of several components, such as caution deposit, tuition fee, hostel fee, and more. A few of these components are one-time payable, while some have are charged annually/semesterly. SRM IST Chennai MBA tuition fee ranges between INR 1.9 Lacs and INR 11.5 lakh. Moreover, the one-time fee range between INR 1,200 and INR 11,000 and the hostel charges range between INR 1.45 Lacs and INR 3.3 lakh.
