SEAD-SRM may not be the best place for architecture, but it is the best place to learn.

Placements: Architecture branch doesn't have placements. We have to complete an internship as part of our 5-year course, and after completing our internship, we have to find firms on our own. The internship is mandatory, and therefore, all the students get internships in and outside Chennai easily.

Infrastructure: I'm from SEAD-SRM, Ramapuram. I started my journey in 2013, and I have seen the department grow gracefully. Every year, the facilities kept on adding. The lecture rooms are well-arranged. The studios are creatively designed. Recently, they have added smart classrooms. There are rooms for every subject like climatology, model making, photography, NASA and many more.

Faculty: The faculty members of SEAD-SRM are wonderful, highly qualified, and dedicated personality. Each one of them has something unique to guide us with. They have constantly been helping and guiding us mentally and emotionally. We are less like students, more like family members. I am still in contact with my faculty members and seniors after my graduation.

Other: We are known for the national level architectural fest.

The college has a high infrastructure with well-facilities.

Placements: The private companies come for campus interviews for the final year students on their interests since there is no campus for architecture department. The minimum salary provided will be Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 20,000 per month and the maximum would be Rs. 50,000 per month. The interview qualification is that the students shouldn't have arrears.

Infrastructure: SRM campus has 24*7 free Wi-Fi facility all around the campus, and all the courses are available in it. All types of labs with the latest technology equipment are available, and also a world-class library and a huge auditorium with 5,000 people capacity with full air-conditioning are open. The public shops of great variety and hygienic food are available in the college canteen with spatial capacity for students.

Faculty: The teachers and professors are well-paid in the college. We have good transportation with air-conditioned buses and has a clean campus. The hostel facilities for boys and girls are available to the students from all over India and abroad come here for lectures. Modi Ji has come here for convocation, and so many celebrities come here for all the events.

Other: All kinds of events are held here, and VIPs all over the world are frequently invited for lectures.

I am satisfied with infrastructure and exposure.

Placements: Placements in our college are good, and almost every student gets an internship in good companies. Students who perform well even get an internship in foreign companies. We have an internship in the fourth year. They train us good from the 1st semester, so we are well-prepared.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good though it could have been much better. There are nice drafting tables, and smart classrooms all make an advantage. Every class has a combined drafting room which is good. The canteen facility is top class in SRM.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college have work experience in the field, and that adds an advantage as they know the field conditions well. They help us from beginning to be trained as in the field. Most of them are pass out of the same college, so they are concerned for us and also know the prevailing conditions.
