SRM Institute of Science and Technology admissions are conducted on the basis of entrance tests. The admission for the flagship programs are held on the basis of SRMJEEE UG exam. Further, SRM MBA admissions are conducted on the basis of SRMJEEM test. The SRMJEEE PG test is conducted for the various SRMIST PG courses. The university also accepts scoring from nationally-held tests like CAT, TANCET, MAT, etc. for admissions.

The university fee structure is cumulative of several components, such as caution deposit, tuition fee, hostel fee, and more. A few of these components are one-time payable, while some have are charged annually/semesterly. SRM IST Chennai MBA tuition fee ranges between INR 1.9 Lacs and INR 11.5 lakh. Moreover, the one-time fee range between INR 1,200 and INR 11,000 and the hostel charges range between INR 1.45 Lacs and INR 3.3 lakh.

SRM University conducts SRM JEE exam for admission to Engineering courses. The university does not accept scores for any other entrance exams. Also, direct admission is not valid either. Further, for admission to MBA course, the university accepts scores of national-level entrance exams such as GMAT, CAT, MAT, TANCE, etc. SRM University also offers direct admission to courses such as BA, MSc, etc., based on the merit of last qualifying exams of previous education.

The programme you select, your housing situation, and other variables will determine the overall cost of attending the SRM Institute of Hotel Management (SRM IHM). That being said, you should budget between 1.8 and 2.7 Lakh annually. The fee for B.Sc Hotel Management will be around 2.5 Lakh per year. B.Sc in Culinary Science will be around 2.3 lakhs. B.Sc in Hospitality Studies will be around 2 Lakh per year.
