Placements: Vel Tech University reports a strong placement record, with the percentage of eligible students placed exceeding 90 percent. The highest package recorded in recent drives is 44 LPA which is offered by Amazon, while the average package for B.Tech programs is between 4 LPA and 6.5 LPA. The campus is visited by over 300 companies including top recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Accenture, and Zoho. Many students secure internships (sometimes it is reported up to 70 percent) with these firms, which offer final roles predominantly in Software Development and System Engineering.
Infrastructure: The hostel buildings themselves are well-maintained, offering multiple occupancy options (AC/Non-AC) with basic furnishing. Facilities are comprehensive including 24/7 water, unlimited Wi-Fi, laundry services, a gym, and sports courts. The experience is marked by two main factors management is very strict with rules and curfews. Regarding food, the quality is often consistent while South Indian cuisine is generally fine overall, mess food receives mixed feedback and is best described as okay. Medical and canteen facilities are readily available on campus.
Faculty: The faculty at Vel Tech are reported to be highly qualified with many holding Ph.D. degrees or actively pursuing them. They are considered knowledgeable and helpful adopting a friendly and supportive approach with students (the mentor-mentee system is frequently mentioned). The teaching quality is rated as good, with professors using modern methods and providing notes. However some long-term student reviews mention occasional inconsistencies in teaching quality across departments, and some regional bias from certain placement coordinators has been noted by a few non-local students.
Other: I'm from the B.Tech CSE (AI & ML) 2024-2028 batch at Vel Tech University, Avadi. I chose this course because of my interest in technology and artificial intelligence. The best parts are practical learning, workshops, and helpful faculty. However more real-world projects and placement support could improve. The campus has good events, scholarships, and friendly students.

Good placements and a vibrant campus.
Placements: Placement rate is 85 to 90%. The highest package offered is 40 LPA, the lowest package offered is 3 LPA, and the average package offered is 6 to 7 LPA. Top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and Amazon. 70% got internships at ATIT & core firms. Roles offered are Software Engineer, Data Analyst, Developer, and Consultant. I would definitely recommend this college.
Infrastructure: Our department has Wi-Fi, SMART classrooms, labs, and a library. Hostels have Wi-Fi, clean rooms, study & recreation. Mess food is decent, and the canteen offers variety. Medical care is available. Sports, gym & games facilities are good for overall student growth. Campus is maintained very hygienically.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified & knowledgeable with clear teaching. Curriculum is updated, practical and industry relevant, making students job ready. Semester exams are moderately tough but manageable. Pass percentage is high, around 85 to 90% overall.
Other: I chose CSE for interest and career scope. The best parts are coding, projects, and placements. Improvements are needed in research and internships. Campus is vibrant with fests, clubs, sports, scholarships, and good connectivity. Crowd is friendly, and the activities are active.

Good placement with supportive faculty, updated curriculum, decent infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: In my course, the overall placement record has been quite good. Nearly 80%-85% of eligible students from the CSE are placed. The highest package offered is around 20 LPA - 25 LPA while the average package is between 4.5 LPA to 6 LPA. Many top companies visited the campus including Infosys, TCS, Wipro, HCL, etc. Internships are offered in Zoho, TCS, and Accenture.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure for my course and department are quite satisfactory and supportive of academic learning. Computer science and engineering department is well-equipped with modern computer labs, high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity, smart classrooms, and access to digital resources. Hostel facilities are also fairly decent with options for single and shared rooms. It provides regular cleaning. It has proper security arrangements.
Faculty: Teachers in my course are generally helpful, approachable, and well-qualified. Many of them hold post-graduate degrees. They have knowledge in their respective fields. Curriculum is regularly updated, and fairly relevant to the current industry trend. It covers core subjects like programming, data structure, computer network, database, AIML, AIDS, and cybersecurity along with electives that are allowed. The overpass percentage for most students is high, usually around 85% to 90%.

Veltech University AI and ML have a good future.
Placements: 92% of students were placed in my course. The highest, lowest, and average package offered is 44 LPA and 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course are YCS and Wipro. Nearly 50% of students got internships from my course, and the top roles offered in my course are data scientist and machine learning engineer.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for my course include digital classrooms, Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library. The quality of the facilities in the hostel is good, and the quality of food available in the mess and canteen is also good. Medical facilities are available anytime.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable on my campus. The teaching quality is better, and the course curriculum is relevant to industry needs. The students are industry-ready to work in any industry.

Review of Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R and D Institute of Science and Technology.
Placements: In our college, above 75% had completed intermediate otherwise, they will charge some donation in our college. The lowest package was 4 LPA, and the highest package was 45 LPA. Our course had many opportunities in future for internships, there was no percentage.
Infrastructure: In our course, there was no Wi-Fi. There was no AC classrooms for the entire first year. AC labs were available. Hostel was good based on your sharing, AC rooms were good compared to non-AC. There were no medical facilities, and just first aid was available at a price. Hostel doctor was available.
Faculty: Based on your knowledge, they will just do their job, teach in the class who had doubt about the topic. They will clarify, they will train from the second year to do internship in our college. Pass percentage was 8% of students were passed.
Other: When I did the intermediate at that time, this course had more benefits in the future to learn C plus python, java, and some coding and know how to develop the AI.
