VIT-DAT is a written exam of two hours duration consisting of objective type questions - MSQ & MCQ, short descriptive answers, and creative ability questions with no negative marking. The university gives 50% weightage to entrance exam score. After entrance exam, the next step of selection is based on portfolio followed by a personal interview round.
