IIT Kharagpur Cutoff 2019: Check Category-wise JEE Advanced Cutoff Ranks
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur has released the JEE Advanced cutoff for the year 2019. The cutoff marks were released in the form of opening and closing ranks for admission to the Engineering and Architecture courses. During the IIT Kharagpur BTech cutoff 2019, the Last Round closing cutoff ranged between 980 and 18448, among which BTech in Computer Science and Technology was the most competitive course. BArch was the least competitive course with Round 1 and Last Round closing ranks of 18028 and 18448, respectively for the General AII India category students.
Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 5395 and closing rank was 5847. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 2284 and 12359. Admission to BSc in Economics in IIT Kharagpur is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE Advanced. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.
To get admission into IIT Kharagpur, the JEE Advanced closing Cutoff rank for the female candidate (General Category) ranged between 1661 and 24653 for different BTech courses. No, BTech admissions at IIT Kharagpur accept the scores of the JEE Mains entrance exam to decide a candidate's admission. The exam is followed by the JoSAA counseling to finalise the admission of a candidate. The WBJEE entrance exam is not accepted for any admissions into the IIT Kharagpur courses.
