Good college with good infrastructure and good staff.
Placements: The placement of food technology is now improving a lot, and many companies started to recruit students. Top companies are ITC, Nagar, Rohini Foods, etc. After the COVID-19 pandemic, the placements are updated now, and the package is slightly lower at the start.
Infrastructure: The hostel is placed inside the campus, and it is somewhat okay, but it needs to be improved a lot. There is a Wi-Fi connection in all the hostels, but the connectivity issues are there food is below average, and it needs to be improved a lot. Otherwise, it is a good hostel.
Faculty: The faculty are very kind and friendly, and they help students in all kinds of projects, internships, and many other activities. They motivate students to perform in all kinds of curricular and extracurricular activities they train them very well for their future.
Other: It is one of the top colleges in Tamil Nadu as well as India. Getting admission in this college is very tough, but when you get in here, it is totally worth it.

Other: The campus is located within the city and there is no transport problem. The canteen in the campus is awesome, the price is average in the canteen and the computer lab is good.
All PCs are working in the lab. The campus is too big and there are various courses provide here in the campus.
There is only one South Indian cuisine in the canteen.

Candidate must have passed HSC (10+2) or its equivalent with above mentioned marks from any recognized Board/council. Candidate who have passed HSC i.e., 10+2 in any one of the Vocational Subject (Basic Mechanical Engineering/ Basic Electrical Engineering/ Basic Electronics Engineering/ Basic Civil Engineering/ Basic Automobile Engineering/ Textile Technology) with any one of the Engineering related subjects namely Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry with above mentioned minimum average percentage put together are also eligible to apply.

Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate.
Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.
Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced.

since JEE mains do not give marks now, so you need to secure at least 93-94 percentile to get a call and then register for counselling and get chance in anna university

You will come under other state quota. Counseling will be separately held for you. Anna University is general name to state government college. So, don't go by that name. Instead, use CEG,MIT,ACtech and so on. Food technology is provided by Actech.
