No, Anna University does not accept JEE Mains scores. Anna University BE/ BTech admission is based on candidates' performance in the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) Counselling. TNEA rank list is used to offer admissions to candidates for undergraduate courses like Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in several colleges in Tamil Nadu. Candidates are eligible to apply for TNEA if they have cleared their Class 12 examination with a minimum aggregate of 45% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
Anna University offers four-year full-time BTech and BE courses across 12 specialisations and 17 specialisations, respectively. Anna University was ranked 17 by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2022.
